I have to rate in accordance with prior purchase. This was a buy again purchase. I throughly enjoyed the versatility of the oils. Although fine to cook with, their presence on the pallete is best when used as a finishing oil. Think breads, dipping, beans, a touch in soups etc. Expensive for everyday use, but a layer of flavor to liven a mundane meal.

Childddd I was shocked with these! Organic AND at this price?! They bring so much more flavor to my food than I expected! This means I get to cook the same old redundant dishes and give them a nuanced flavor change all while being lazy and not switching up the seasoning! I love that you get so much variety with just one kit. I was a little worried that they would each taste relatively the same(similar to infused water) but each one is VERY different from one another. This kit has been an element that has helped me to cook at home more often. These oils would be a great gift even for someone who doesn't cook a lot to help them feel more experimental. I can also use these oils pair great with balsamic and Italian herbs when eaten with bread like I'm at a bougie restaurant! Alternatively, they can be used as a base oil for pan frying because of their high-temperature smoke point or as a spray-on oil for foods in an air fryer! These are definitely a staple in my kitchen now!

Since the 80s when good olive oil became sort of a mainstream buzz I have tried so many. From supermarket varieties, to William Sonoma varieties to flavored varieties given to me as gifts, they all just tasted sort of musty/funky to me. Then I began eating very low carb and appreciating quality fats in my diet. Then came COVID19 and being confined to doing my marketing online: the virus-related "shut down" has been revealing in many ways both horrible and good, but one of the absolute treasures I have come across is Mantova olive oil. I bought the four flavor pack: very well packed, just enough flavor to taste the basil, lemon, garlic, and chili. The oil is light, fresh, almost tangy. I make my own salad dressing, but the oil is so light you really don't need to add anything but a little sea salt and whatever acid (vinegar, citrus) you like. I'm buying another set as a gift for my neighbor. Generations of his family have owned & run a large spice company. He is going to love this. I highly recommend this olive oil. It is worth every penny. Congratulations on finding something fabulous!
