Wet Dry Sandpaper, Assorted 240-3000 Grit for Automotive Wood Sanding, 90 Sheets

I'm using these to restore the plastic headlights on my wife's 2015 Kia Sorento using a Craftsman NexTech high-speed oscillating tool with a triangular sanding pad. I can cut 3 triangular pieces per sheet and use 3 short strips of double-side-sticky “Duck Tape” to attach the pieces to the sanding pad’s face (designed for hook & loop attachment). Using plenty of water from a spray bottle, the abrasives did a wonderful job of removing the oxidation and some deep scratches/dings from the sand & gravel on Arizona roads. I will say, it looks pretty scarry after the 1,000 through 1,500 grits – but clears up smooth with the 2,000 > 3,000 grits. When finished with the 3,000, I use Meguiar’s PLASTX plastic polish and headlight sealer to put the final crystal-clear polish & finish on the surface. They look like new and saved $1,400 over replacing them at Kia!

My headlights were very yellowed from the sun. I tried the baking soda method and the toothpaste method to little avail. I bought this sandpaper, MacGuires PlastX plastic polish and some 600 grit sandpaper. I started with the 600 and wet sanded the lens. I needed this courser grit to get through the yellowed layer of plastic. Once my drippings were coming out opaque white instead of yellowish, I rinsed and moved onto this sandpaper packet. I wet sanded from 1000 - 3000 to restore the smooth surface. Then I applied the PlatX for the shine. I'm very pleased with my results. And I still have lots of sandpaper left! I only used a half sheet of each grit. It held up when wet and did a really nice job.

I had to do a ton of paint work on a used Corolla I bought and this wet/dry sandpaper came in very handy. It works very well wet or dry and holds up well to extensive usage. The long sheets are best split in half for easy usage when hand sanding. I tend to use the 1000, 2000, and 3000 but will probably move over the to 1200, 1500, 2500 once I run out of the others. Once I get to 3000, I am able to use rubbing compound and polish rather than needing 4000/5000 grit. This has worked very well for me. I was able to do extensive paint work on my car with just this one pack and still have a ton left over. Great value and good quality!

Welt sanded all the pearl white pictured on the Harley with this paper before buffing, it works flawlessly. Every grit you need for wet sanding, keep it wet and it will last just as long as high end papers that cost triple as much. The variety makes it extremely easy to use it for whatever your wet sanding needs may be! Cleans out well and doesn’t get gummed up like most cheap papers, will last much longer than most as long as you keep it good and wet.

Bonafide wet n dry with all the grit sizes promised.

Great range of product for auto refinishing. Works perfectly wet or dry. Noticed one previous reviewer stated that this product doesn't work when wet. This is not correct, had no problem wet sanding.

0ne sheet 3000, one sheet 2500, two sheets 2000. Balance all fifty sheets were 1500 and 1000 grit which are commonly available in retail. Expecting at least equal quantities of different grits. Waste of money.
