Rolife Cathy's Greenhouse Miniature Kit with LED Lights

Got this for my 11-year-old who really enjoyed putting a bookstore kit together that was from the same company. So, I looked it up to see what other stuff they have. There was another one that we had to return cause it was too hard. This one was better to assemble, however be warned that there are lots of little pieces like flowers, plants, etc - that you have to put together and it takes time. It took my daughter several days, but it turned out nicely. The details are great.

I am only halfway through the greenhouse project and I'm loving every minute. This kit includes a wide variety of materials: flat wooden cut outs, paper, fabric, wire, tissue, twine, beads, and more. There are full color instructions, and all the elements come loose, scattered amongst a variety of numbered ziplock bags. The instructions will tell you which items you need, which bags they are in, and how to put them together once you've assembled all the "ingredients" for the item. There is an actual size printed key you can compare pieces to for accuracy. You'll want to have good sharp scissors for details, needle nose pliers that can cut wire, and an xacto or utility knife on hand. Some of the steps require snipping bits off of a length of wire, or sawing through a tiny dowel to make legs for a stool. Some of the elements are quite tiny. The glue provided is surprisingly good - clear and thick enough to hold bits in place, dries fast but not SO fast that you can't adjust your placement a little. I also have been using my own Mod Podge for the paper elements. This kit is a blast to put together if you enjoy cutting out tiny bits of paper and detail oriented work. Which I do! Every little item so far has been very fun to build and I'm already ordering more kits to try.

This was such a fun craft! This was my very first miniature. Way way more fun than i anticipated. I thought the directions were so easy, the product was so well made & organized so well with all the labels. I every bought another one for my sister. My husband & sister didn’t think I’d finish it as I’m a bit impatient with small things, but oddly enough I found it to be sooo relaxing & cathartic while doing it. I’ve been stressed lately and boy did that really help with it. I was so proud when it was done as I did everything myself, I don’t want any help. But, i was sad too that it was all done. My kit didn’t come with glue, it came with 2 sided tape that frankly was ridiculously unusable. So I tossed that right away for some good crafting glue. Way easier! Also, make sure everything is glued down good before putting the actual house sides up or everything will jostle around & your hands won’t fit in there to fix it. If you’re on the fence about getting it, you really should, you won’t regret it! I want more!

This was fun to put together. It's the first time I had tried a kit like this and I really liked it. I would have given this five stars, but I did find the double sticky take was sometimes inadequate for certain items and ended up using glue for most of the time. The furniture did snap together, and the outside of the greenhouse was printed with grids, so that made it a lot easier than some other reviewers indicated. Some of the "engineering" was questionable, but most of it went together OK. I found the instructions to be easy to follow. It did take quite a while to build, but overall, I enjoyed it.

Really cute mini flower house. I did need to use some gel super glue in places and you have to cut out several paper items that are not perforated so you need an exacto-knife. I dis have to use extra double-sided tape but other than that, all the pieces were there and fit together well (except for the yellow pillow - I had to trim some of the inside to get it to snap together well). Overall, I enjoyed putting it together.

I love these miniatures. I have put quite a few of these together and I really like this brand. The instructions are thorough and the pieces are good quality. They fit together nicely and you still get to be a little creative if you want to where you put some of the decorations. It looks good when it’s put together and I enjoyed doing it.

The greenhouse project was so enjoyable to make! I followed the directions closely and it turned out fine. Some directions were not very clear, but I figured it out. Superglue and a hot glue gun worked well for placement of items. I made this for my elderly mom who loves gardening to enjoy during the cold months of winter.

This kit is amazing. This was my first miniature project and this is a hobby I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. I can’t remember the last time I felt so motivated to complete something just because it brings me joy. The instructions were easy enough to follow, but having almost no experience with papercrafting, I needed my VERY EXEPRIENCED girlfriends help for a few of the flowers and other paper craft bits. The big wood pieces used for the structure were a bit warped which made final assembly a bit difficult, but I made it work! It would have been a million times easier with some clamps, so maybe get some of those before you start. I bought a small gundam/miniature toolkit, some clear Tacky glue, and a bottle of Gorilla wood glue to complete this project. It comes with some glue and tweezers, but I found it really beneficial to have some heartier tweezers and a pair of pliers and wire cutters for all of the wire work. You could complete the project without any supplemental items, but I spent < $20 to make the project a lot easier and a lot closer to the pictures. At one point I foolishly pasted the flooring to the wrong side of the floor and had to run to a craft store and lucked out that they had a piece of loose scrapbook paper that looked like tiny bricks! Finally, this is a great distraction from anything you don’t want to think about. This was a very soft landing place for my brain on good and bad days! Also, this stuff takes forever. I watched all of Downton Abbey, a whole season of Mrs. Maisel, and a myriad of Disney movies and episodes of the Good Place while working on this. Overall, this was the most fun I’ve had doing anything in a long long time. Sometimes I’s spend more than ten hours a day working on this. It’s hard to tear yourself away from something that makes you feel so accomplished :)

I have purchased one of these miniature houses kits from Rolife before but in store, i was happy i was able to order another kit online. I noticed immediately once I started putting the shelf together that the quality is garbage compare to the one I assembled before. At least several pieces have cracked and I haven't used excess pressure and I have come across my first miss match. I confirmed the numbers on the bag to the instruction manual; the piece has 4 tabs instead of three, the picture in the diagram displays 4 but the hard piece of "wood" only has space for 3 tabs... pretty disappointed considering I'm only on page 8/34 and I've come across so many issues.

This kit is very well put together and is amazing for the price point. This is my first try at miniatures so can’t compare to others but it was way beyond my expectations in terms of quality and detail. The instruction booklet is comprehensive and well written with lots of photos and diagrams.

Bought this for my teenage daughter who loves doing projects like this. It is now sitting on our book shelf in the living room and we get to enjoy it every day. Some of the instructions are a little hard to follow, but after some trail and error she figured it out!

This was soooo much fun to put together. Ive been wanting to get one of these kits for a long time and this one was on sale and I thought it was really cute, so I made the purchase. It definitely was challenging, but really satisfying. I enjoyed putting my own spin on it as well. I painted the walls yellow, used a dollhouse area rug instead of the paper one included, and turned parts of the lantern into a crystal ball, which inspired creating a table for it as well. Its a really cute set and ive already started another one!!
