While quite fragile and difficult to fly (if actual guidance is your goal) was here radio controlled birds are an amazing testament to human ingenuity. We’ve gone through 3 so far, none lasting more than a few months, but my kids love playing with them. A large indoor gymnasium or windless field is best, they will not operate inside a home well.

On only its second flight the bird stopped flapping its wings and glided to the ground. I could hear the motor was running but there was no power to the wing mechanism. I am a very experienced RC modeler, so I opened the bird to see what was wrong. I found there was no pinion gear on the motor or anywhere inside the bird. Apparently the gear had come off the motor shaft while the bird was in the air. The gear must have fallen out of the bird and was lost somewhere between the yard and my repair area. Very disappointed. This kind of failure should not happen. It is not rocket science to have a gear properly attached to a motor. Millions, if not billions, of toys are made each year powered by small motors. This bird was a lemon, and hopefully the entire Mukikim inventory does not have the same flaw. I will not re-order. Once burned....twice shy.

This a great product. I read other reviews before purchasing and was skeptical. The one I received was in great shape. I have flown it 4 times now without any issues. The best time to fly is early in the morning when there is no to little wind. This bird flies at about 7 mph. If you have any wind higher than that, it will blow it away from you. Your first flight should be in an open area so you can get used to the controls. Power controls altitude and short clicks on the rudder. It is fun to fly. I was amazed a hummingbird and a dragon fly were interested in it. Lots of fun when you figure out how the controls work.

Super cool remote control bird. Flew like a real bird. Loved it. But then it's wing separated. Fun was over. I think we might be able to fix it, but we got a LOT of fun out of it while it lasted. Should be a bit cheaper though, since it's really just styrofoam and thin plastic. I might buy another in the future cause it really is like a real bird. Hard to control.

Had initial PEBKAC with first use. In the instructions, after pairing, it says to toggle the throttle, what it needs to say is toggle it *several times* until it starts flapping. I was originally pretty peeved when it apparently didn't work out of the box, but with a follow-on contact with the seller and following their updated instructions _to the letter_ , it works _perfectly_. Also, what looks like a tiny on/off toggle switch on the bird is actually a tiny push button. The formerly lazy cats of the household are now hunting all over looking for that bird after it flew through the living room! Awesome!

It is fun to fly but it is difficult to keep it up in the air. It keeps dropping to the ground and won’t get up by itself. I have to walk to it and fix it, it’s okay but not the best. I am alittle disappointed.

My son really want a flying remote control bird for his birthday and he chose this one. He flew it only a handful of times and the tiny wing broke right away. The quality is so cheap for the price of the bird. We returned it right away. My son was so disappointed.

It is very easy to fly. My daughters (9 and 12) were doing turns and stalls within a few minutes. The battery charges in about 30 minutes and you get at least 10 minutes of flight after that charge. The wings and nose are fragile but can still withstand normal landings/crashes on grass. We had one break after hitting sidewalk but the other is still going strong after 25 flights. Its a great product and really fun.

Anyone who rates this product less than a 4 out of 5 is a complete idiot and didnt take the time to learn how this thing flies. With a couple days of practice this product is the most entertaining rc toy i have ever flown. Other than the “short” range(which isnt even that short i just wish it would to higher now that i have gotten the hang of it), this toy is the most fun one can have for under $50. Just ordered 3 more and highly recommend this to anyone. Make sure firs flights are in a very open space such as a park or a field and once you catch on to how this thing moves you can fly it anywhere. 5 out of 5!

The bird seemed fun but broke immediately. I think there was something wrong with the plastic connection shown in the picture.

Im a grown adult and loved this toy. Just be careful they are very easy to break
