I have written a few reviews but this product takes the biscuit. These curtains are excellent. A few things they don't tell you. They are made of polyester hence the blackout (that is what I wanted them for). The are very lightweight, cream/magnolia in colour and have a quite nice peach skin handle (feel). You get a pair in the pack. The linings are fitted after the original curtains have been gathered - just lay the blackout on top of the original, gather it to just under the width of the original and hook it into the top webbing on the existing curtains (hooks provided). If they are too long, just cut them short with scissors. They do not fray. The, now, blacked out curtains open and close as they did before. You wouldn't know they were there, except when the sun shines and no light comes through. Solved the problem easily and cheaply. Thoroughly recommend.

Just what I required!!..Keeps light out as curtains although lined,only thin,also keeps heat in!! Very pleased with these liners,better than the previous liners I have had.Easy to hang,and also makes curtains hang better!!..Good quality material.Delivery was excellent as was the price.Decent weight too!!..Excellent purchase!!

For the price this is excellent. I am sleeping better and has "saved" curtains. Does fray slightly when you cut to size but not a problem. Fairly easy to fit. Only complaint here is a slight smell when hot sun is trapped behind it but not otherwise and insulates well.

Excellent product. We noticed the difference in thermal protection the first night we used them. Very good blackout. Incredible price, value for money linings. Yes there is a sort of finish on the fabric but it’s nicer than those creepy rubbery thermal linings if years ago.Be warned the lining is not white, crea, ivory or pale grey but a light aqua colour. Ironically this couldn’t have been better for me as my curtains are aqua based.

Easy to attach to the curtains, and gives great protection from light. Just spread the curtain on the floor, grabbed the liner and adjusted it to fit the length by pulling the strings on hthe header tape. Finally you just add a hook in every so often like you would on normal curtains and the hook is attached to both the liner and existing curtain. You might need someone to hold the other end whilst you put the curtain back up as the liner makes the whole curtain quite bulky and heavy. My three year slept like a dream and wasn't bothered by any light, which meant I got more sleep too :-)I needed to cover a 96inch x 70 window and bought the 90 x 72 pair and they gave enough material to spread out and block the light and were a good length, although it does say you can trim them without sewing. I didn't have to bother as they came to a nice length behind the normal curtains.

Wow, what a difference. We had really thin blackout curtains that were making hardly any difference. I even bought sleeping masks to help which did but can't stand things on my face. I will bin the useless curtains as these have exceeded my expectations and are attached to our old pair. We also have a newborn and trying to get her to sleep better through the night with less light, she slept very well last night too. Will buy again for our daughter's room. Highly recommend.

These blackout liners do the job perfectly - they literally let no light through. Of course, light still enters the room around the curtains because of the gap between curtain pole and window, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the blackout liners. I've bought these for three rooms in the house now, and would highly recommend. They also do an 'eyelet' version, where you hook them straight onto the curtain pole (hooks the size of curtain rings, but the rings are not fully closed (i.e. they are hook-shaped) so you can put them on the pole without having to remove your curtain.

Fabulous linings for curtains. Keeps the light out.Good quality.

When first fitted the linings had a faint smell, but when the heating was turned on the smell became really strong - a musty chemical smell.

Near perfect blackout curtains, much better than I expected, would buy again.

Used on small curtains to block early morning direct sun. Easy to hang and works very well.

Curtains are fine BUT take care when removing the orange warning label. On one of the curtains it was so stuck on that pulling it off was tearing the material so we had to leave...

just what i needed

These linings were easy to put up, came with a pack of curtain hooks too. They cut out all the light which is just what I needed with a street light just outside.

This item worked well to reflect the heat given the exceptional heat this summer we will see how it performs to retain heat during the winter.

Work very well at keeping sun out in day and street lighting out at night.
