Android by Example: App Development using Android Studio

This book and "Learning Android by Example" are clearly identical to each other even tho by different authors; even drawings the same and page num bers. Other than that the books are ok.

The first thing I noticed about this book is that the index shows topics going up to page 48 yet there is not a single page number printed in the book. It appears to be self published and could use some serious proofing. The font used is really small and hard to read plus the screen shots are fuzzy. I purchased this since it uses the Android Studio IDE and wanted something that references recent SDK versions. The concept of the book works well it just needs some more details to allow you to follow along building the demo apps. I got stuck in a couple places because the text didn't give the specific code and the associated screen shot was illegible.

Als Übersicht könnte das Buch taugen (als mehr ist es wohl auch nicht gedacht).Allerdings sind die Kapitel sehr schlecht strukturiert, teilweise sehr verwirrend.Zum Nacharbeiten im Android Studio nur bedingt geeignet.Die englische Übersetzung ist mangelhaft.Auf github gibt es den Quelltext bzw. die Android Studio Projekte aller im Buch beschriebenen Projekte zum Runterladen.Allerdings sind diese zum Teil wohl auch unvollständig.Selbst für den relativ geringen Preis eigentlich nicht zu Empfehlen.
