Why did I not think of this before! My laptop keyboard - even with the light from the monitor - is unbelievably dark. Or maybe I am unbelievably old. Either way - I was thinking I needed to find a laptop with a lighted keyboard - but the expense was just too much to even think about. So...I'm flipping thru reading lights on Amazon and it hits me (yes, I'm slow and old) that I could use this for my laptop. Best 13 bucks I ever spent. Works like a charm and plugs in to the computer so I don't have to worry about batteries. Heart!7/14/15 - I just bought another one of these because, well, I have kittens in the house. The other one now has no intact cord. That being said - I never hesitated once to buy this exact product again! Love the dual power light - I can go bright or dimmer depending on the light in the room.

It's actually too bright for me! Wish it were a little softer.

I love this reading light, I can read in bed right beside of hubby and he's no longer bothered. It clips on my reading material easily and the clip has protective pads so it doesn't damage electronic devices. I rec'd it in excellent condition, well packaged. I recommend this product.

Essentially saved my marriage. My wife gets up early in the morning. I am generally up reading till 1 AM. A charge seems to last forever, I recharge it every three or four days, no problems. The light clips onto your book unobtrusively and has two light levels. Wonderful device.

Piece of junk. Quit working 2 months later. Don't waste your money.

This product has many uses, not just reading. When you need to find something in an unlit room or corner and you need both hands, just clip it to your shirt.

My wife uses it to illuminate her computer keyboard, works perfectly, plugs into computer, great device!
