PolarProQuartzLine 77mm CP Camera Filter (Circular Polarizer Filter)

For years I've been using cheap Polarised filters, I've tried all sorts. from £10 to £75, nothing really was worth it, the ones that didn't have horrible colouring or image quality would have crap finishing or terrible threads. I was almost ready to give up on the entire thing, the I was recommended this Polar Pro by a friend.He is now a much better friend :)- The build quality is immaculate, excellent is an understatement.- Image quality is absolutely great, couldn't notice any negative effects even at over 30 mpx- The results speak for themselves, I was able to completely eliminate all the glare on the car in that shot, perfectly seeing through the glass windows by simply rotating the front element until the desired amount of glare was away and additionally, recovering the sky was made so much easier since a lot of the sky glare was removed.I now have this almost permanently attaches to my Canon EF 17-40 F4 L, and regularly use it on my smaller thread lenses with step down rings. Fully recommend it. If you're in the market for a CP Filter, stop wasting your money on cheap ones, just buy once.

This is an amazing quality filter with mature and tried design which will enable you to enjoy taking polarised pictures for years to come !Your filter should be the best you can afford . Between this and Lee I’ve decided to buy PolarPro it is simply oozing quality and with almost no detectable detoriation on sharpness and image quality .If you have pro lenses and serious about quality and aware that your filter should outlive your camera AND your lens - buy this with trust! It is as good as they say :)Oh and it goes well with Nikon colours :D

Polar pro filters are supreme quality as expected.

Well packaged and comes with a quality hard case, produces little in the way of colour distortion and provides excellent results. Only the price prevented 5 stars but if its quality you`re after this is hard to beat!

This product is extremely well made and robust. It looks fantastic mounted on the lens and produces crystal clear images while offering a nice level of protection to the front of the lens. Though it is expensive, it is worth investing in a decent filter to protect your lens and eliminate uv. Highly recommended.

This is clearly a hard wearing Circular Polarizer, I expect have this in many years to come. It should outlive the camera and possibly all the lenses its attached to (as all my lenses are now focus by wire).There is nothing special about image quality or polarising effect. Its just a quartz glass and bronze ring just means it's very hard wearing, and I don't need to worry about it as much as I need to worry about the surfaces of my lenses.

Product arrived in a really tatty box (as pictured).After inspection the filter seems fine, no scratches or anything but this isn’t the packaging quality I expect from a ‘top of the range’ item and price point.

Very well made, nicest filter I ever used. No vignetting, that is why I stopped using them. I do not use variable ones. Look if you are in. The sun you slap this on and open the aperture wide open and your good. The polarizing part is really useful. You basically can turn it off, point it at the sky and you will see as you turn it the sky get blue. Point it at a car or a house window and watch how it removes the refection. Best looking filters too. The gold and the tint over the glass, just looks high end. The case is solid and rubber ti protect. Hands down the only filter I use if its sunny out. Forget variables. Why would you buy an expensive full frame lens with expensive glass and throw some $20 filter on it? Get the 82 or 77 and use step rings. You dont need to buy one for every lens. Inly filters That I will ever use again. Polar pro makes excellent step ring too. It is built for these filters, that is another thing, no cheap step rings. That is where id buy individually. Like 77-82 or 67-82 but one filter, get the best or cheap out. If you own nice gear.

Rien à redire sauf qu'il a l'aire de se griffer facilement (des micros rayures), à voir avec le temps.De toute façon, les micros rayures sont trop fines que pour impacter la qualité de l'image. les couleurs du filtre me semble assez neutre et il ne diminue pas la qualité des objectifs.On compte 1 stop en moins de lumière avec ce filtre ce qui me semble excellent en comparant avec les concurrents et l'efficacité du CPL est excellente.Point bonus pour le packaging qui est qualitatif.

I actually don't even use this filter that often. Honestly, competitor Freewell is equally good (for most amateur/professional filmmakers). I use Freewell way more on all my camera equipment (drones included). The price is just better with all competitors of PolarPro, while barely giving in on quality.I must however say that the build quality of this PolarPro filter is very good! So props on that.
