Works as advertised
Product works well. Seems solid. Just need to affix the back plate to the backside of the motherboard (may need to remove the other case panel to do this). The front plate secures around the socket on the face of the motherboard, screws into the back plate. Instructions were not clear.

Worked great for FX8350 install
Worked great when I switched my FX8350 build to a new chassis that my Evo 212 wouldn't fit in. I bought a shorter cooler and realized that I didn't have the stock mounting hardware for the CPU. My local MicroCenter didn't have this bracket in stock, but Amazon got it to me in 1 day!

Good price but breaks easily if not careful!
Pretty good for the price. I am actually having to order my second one though because the first one broke. It hasn't been quite a year since I installed the old one. The little plastic pieces that hold the fan to the motherboard are not very strong so depending on your CPU and fan weight/size this may not be a good fit. Just something to keep in mind!

Lasted less than 10 months
I bought this as a replacement for the original bracket on my wife's computer. Installed it, closed the case and went about my business. The machine has been sitting on a desk top since without being moved or opened since. The dinky little tab on the bottom sheared off today.

Did not fit my computer. Wrong screw holes.

Exactly what i needed!
Needed a stock AMD retention bracket for my new H100i CPU cooler, Cam in fast and fit exactly as it should for an AM3+ socket. Good and strong plastic works as it should.

Great replacement
Fit perfectly. I've seen some reviews on these brackets saying that they're cheap and the plastic breaks easily. As of my experience I understand that it is plastic. I handled it as such and when i installed the stock cooler nothing broke.

Cheap and works great!
This is a great replacement for an AM3 style CPU Heatsink retainer. Not really sure what else I can say.
