Dokken Dead Fowl Trainer Hunting Dog Dummy

Bought one for $22 and lost it. My fault. Bought another one for $22 and kids lost it. Went to buy another one and price more than doubled. No way! Good product with scent, but not worth over 50.00 Now I use a real quail frozen solid. After 30 minutes I put it back in the freezer and grab another one. A better and more realistic experience for the dogs anyway. The feel of feathers in their mouth is important. Start them young with barbed wire wrapped around the bird. A "blank" gunshot before the throw is important too.

Perfect training tool, don't let your dog have it unless you are present and training or else you just wasted 30 bucks and instilled bad habit with future game retrieval. My catahouly was doing great until she snatched the decoy off the table and chewed it up, still works though so very durable for a sporting dog. Haven't given the pits a try yet but I'm sure they'd find a way to tear it up if they wanted. Product has been around for many years which speaks to efficacy and honesty.

Good tool, my boy likes it as a toy of course - does what it is designed to do the way it’s advertised- good trainer.

Great training aid. Approximate weight and length of a quail. Just a tad overpriced in my opinion

Living in AZ I really hope my Weim pup takes to quail hunting. He’s still a little young for his mouth to be able to get around the hard foam body of this thing, it is the same size as a real big gambels quail but when it comes to quality and life likeness this thing is 5 stars. When the quail scent is used it really does get his attention.

It's really not stretchy. Perfect size for our pointer.

My dog goes nuts when I take it out of my pocket during a walk and has a blast seeking it when I hide it along the way.

Not much to say about dokkens. These are a great quality. Look and feel is real. Dogs love them. We use them for training tools and these are holding up well.
