Is Hawaiian Spirulina better than organic spirulina?

Yes. Independent testing found high lead in more than half of “organic” spirulina and greens powders, all sourced internationally. Hawaiian Spirulina passed all testing. Purity comes from origin, not labels.

What is the recommended serving size for the 500 mg tablets?

Take 6 tablets daily (3 g total), with or between meals. You may divide dose and take 3 tablets in the a.m. and 3 in the p.m. If you prefer fewer tablets per serving, we also offer 1000 mg tablets that deliver 3 g in just 3 tablets.

Are the tablets easy to swallow? Can they be chewed?

Yes. The tablets are smooth and easy to swallow, and some customers choose to chew them. They are intended to be swallowed for convenience and minimal taste.

Should I choose powder or tablets?

Both contain the same Hawaiian Spirulina grown on our farm. Powder is best for smoothies, juices, or sprinkling on food. Tablets are best for convenience and on-the-go use. Many customers keep both on hand.
