I would always use Bayer Aspirin. Who knows what is in the other brand aspirins.

What is the expiration date of this procuct?

I believe these are dated 2.5 years ahead, so if it only has one year left it's more than halfsway through its shelf life. That doesn't mean it's not good, and a good date doesn't mean it's good either; in fact I picked up this item at the drugstore about four months ago that had 2 1/3 years left on its shelf life, but it smelled like vinegar when I opened it.

The label says "coated" - does that mean the tablets are enteric coated?

No, they would say enteric coated. Bayer has a smooth coating on it to keep it from dissolving before you swallow it.

I believe you can be safe in believing it is manufactured in the U.S. if that was the intent of the question. You could always visit your local pharmacy and read the label on the container.
