A Cross Stitch Christmas: The Season for Stitching (Better Homes and Gardens) Review: Very nice - Arrived in great condition and the designs in this one are lovely. Review: Wonderful, wonderful cross stitch - Short and sweet, if you like cross stitch and want to build a library while there are still some really good, inexpensive books available, buy this book. It has a wide variety of Christmas Cross Stitch patterns for every kind of look. From Victorian Santas to a contemporary stocking sampler as well as pillows, plaids and ornaments are in this book. The charts are in color and symbol codes. I love this book and I am so very glad that I added it to my library while it was still available, which it won't be for long. Look at the number of copies available. Originally printed in 1998, my copy is in mint condition and with shippng, I paid $4.00. Now, where can you beat that for an (at the time) a $27.00 book. Need I say more?

very nice book
There are quite a few designs in this book - some santas, nutcrackers, snowmen, birds, mice - a lot of samplers. Although some of the designs say they are ornaments (or on a sampler) one could very easily put them on a Christmas stocking (those are the types of designs I'm looking for). (I don't like mice but they have a Christmas stocking with several mice on it.) Directions for basic and special cross stitches. very nice book.
