I live in the northeast and the temperature can swing dramatically in a single day. Earlier this week we had a bunch of snow and the temps were in the single digits, then the temp went up and it was raining which melted all the snow, but then the temps dropped again and everything turned to ice. Today we got a few inches of fresh powder on top of the ice. I wore these micro spikes on a 3 mile hike and they worked so good! My steps felt secure, I didn't slip. The spikes were pretty simple to put on and take off. Very pleased with my purchase.

They have great traction and the medium fit comfortably to my 7.5 hiking shoe. I used them once so far. I did a hike at Sequoia and they were very helpful through deep snow. I couldn’t have hiked without them.

These cleats do exactly what they're supposed to do. They give you fantastic grip on ice. If you're a mountain climber they will give you extra traction on rough rocky terrain. They fit perfectly over top my extra large Timberland PRO boots size 15 wide. They're very easy to slip on and off. During the past snow storm I use these so I could walk confidently on ice and snowy surfaces without worrying about slipping and falling. I was also using a cleat fitted to the bottom of my walking cane. The combination of the two gave me complete confidence to walk among the ice and snow without worrying about slipping and losing my balance. They are only meant to be worn outside on rough surfaces. Do not try and wear them where surfaces may be smooth. They will slip and slide on smooth surfaces, such as hard smooth tile surfaces. They can also tear up a wooden floor. I suggest you put them on right before you need to use them to go outside, or keep them on an extra pair of boots and swap out when you get outside to where you need to go. They could probably puncture holes in your carpeting as well. They are very tough. They take a little bit of time getting used to walking with them. After a while you don't even know you have them on. They have a very specific purpose. You can't just leave them on all the time.

They went on my boots very tightly, and look like they might last a couple years before breaking. The rubber degrades over time. These work great, but on concrete or the deck, I have watched my balance . The cleats are fairly tall to be aggressive. Don't wear them on interior floors or you will be in the dog house.

Easy to attach to boots. Easy to adjust for different footwear. Large can be used on size 10 hiking boots but also worked on size 7 winter boots. I felt very safe walking on my slanted driveway after an ice storm. The traction provided was awesome

I purchased thse crampons just 2 days ago and received them the next day. Thanks for great service from Amazon. They came with a carry on bag which is a great plus. The velcro strap is a good add on to keep things tied up while hiking. Took them earlier today for a 3 mile hike. They trail had a a mix of snow and a lot of Ice. I felt totally confident, the grip was amazing on the icy part, both uphill and downhill and it felt like I am walking naturally, never lost a stride. They also added stability on the snowy part, no slipping at all. Great product. Will have to test longevity over time.

Bought size Large which fit my size 8 hiking boot. True to size. Secure, comfortable, easy on/off, stable on ice!!! I’m recovering from a broken ankle and feel very safe and in control in these ice cletes. Great for shoveling snow/ice, hiking in winter, mail carrier, utility workers etc.

I used these for some icy and snowy winter hiking up steep ascents. These worked as well as any other spike ive tried, and kept their grip on icy rock patches and packed snow. Definitely confidence inspiring putting them on. The size charts seem accurate and they stretch enough to put them on easily, though some practice may be required. These are a great value compared to some of the name brand spikes

Faciles à mettre. Prend pas trop de place dans le sac à dos. Pas très lourdes. À voir sous le temps si elles sont toujours aussi efficaces.

Ich habe sie inzwischen bei 8 Touren im Winter benutzt und bin bisher völlig zufrieden. Passen perfekt bei meinen Schuhen mit Größe 44. Noch nie verrutscht und guter Halt auf Eis. Gummi bisher auch noch nicht ausgedehnt. Lassen sich super schnell anbringen und wieder abnehmen.

Bought two pairs of crampons for our recent Lofoten, Norway trip. This crampon is simply awesome; it has very good grip on snow and especially icy surfaces. My wife and I could move around confidently without fear of falling.

In no way do these spikes replace a 10/12 point crampon, but they do serve a purpose and they do it very well. I recently hiked the Tarmachan Ridge in full winter condition. Powdery snow with wind scarred ice sections. These spikes gave confidence under foot, very easy to put on and are a must to keep in your pack when it's possible you might encounter slippy conditions. Sometimes the conditions don't merrit a full crampon, this is where these spikes come into their own. Well made and great for the price.
