Will this fit dxv06g model?

If you pull up this model, it should show which vac's that it will fit.

I have this filter & the middle twist lock/cap came off. how do i put it back on? no matter how i align the cap, it doesn't sit right.

We recommend purchasing a new filter unfortunately that cap is not detachable

Do I need a filter if I’m using the dry vac to remove acorns from my lawn? If yes, why ?

Yes because even though the acorns are large the fine debris that comes with them would damage your vacuum in a short amount of time

I have this filter. after use it can be rinsed with h2o, but is it ok to use for solely wet projects? can't find a foam filter.
