Shea Butter Hand and Body Lotion, Deep Conditioning Moisturizer, 3X More Radiant Skin, with Pure Shea Butter, Dermatologist Tested, 26.5 Oz

For the past year, I have been trying every kind of lotion - searching for one that actually softens the skin and gets rid of wrinkles and psoriasis - long term. I have had patches of dry skin psoriasis for 10 years that would never heal, then I tried Jergen's Shea Butter lotion and was surprised that it actually worked, no more dry patches! It softened and healed my dry hands and is an excellent face moisturizer. At age 58, it was amazing to see the wrinkled, dried-up skin on my hands and arms disappear, now looking so much softer, healthier and younger! I now use this lotion as my overnight face moisturizer and I put it on under my make-up every morning, and the results are excellent. The scent is fine, but I would prefer to have this lotion with a floral scent, such as lavender or geranium. It contains both Shea butter and Cacao (Cocoa) seed butter, and Mango seed butter which are very moisturizing and soothing. If it did not have cetearyl alcohol added, the lotion would be even more moisturizing, however, I did not experience any drying effects or delayed irritation reactions to the alcohol - (as I have had many times with other lotions). I do wish that the lotion did not contain petrolatum (derived from petroleum) or urea (derived from urine), since these do not seem beneficial or necessary, and in the past when I used a petrolatum salve product - it immediately caused me to develop many warts that I still suffer from today - so I have always tried to avoid petrolatum. So far, Jergen's Shea Butter lotion has only had a beneficial and silky-smooth effect. Tried and true, it is now top-ranked on my list, definitely best and better than the rest.

You can never go wrong with a Jergen's body lotion. The scent is not too strong or too light and the texture is perfect for a good moisturizing lotion. It leaves my skin looking and feeling so smooth and soft. My skin stays moisturized all day. Glad I found it at a lower price than what Target sells it for!

Great for daily use. Great for reducing scars as it's enriched with vitamin e and Shea butter. Smells great for hours and really moisturizing to the body.

Purchased for my wife. She uses it all the time.

Update: After using the lotion for 3 months, I'm impressed with its moisturizing and I've grown used to the scent and it no longer bothers me. I am now using it on my hands and face. Original review: The lotion is good for moisturizing. It's a bit sticky at first but that goes away quickly. Unfortunately, the fragrance is quite strong. I'm not fussy about scent but I put it on my arms and hands and did not like the odor. The odor dissipated after a couple of hours but I won't use the lotion on my arms, hands or face.

I could not find this on Jergens website, so not sure if it has been discontinued. I really like this formula because it does last from shower to shower really. Every day use has really improved my skin condition called psoriasis, which makes your skin very dry and itchy among other things. Pleasant light smell that does not linger. Consistency is just right, thin enough it spreads easily but thick enough it stays where I apply it.

This lotion is a classic because it works the best on dry hands. It soaks into the skin without lingering greasiness. It keeps my hands soft and moisturized. It also costs a lot less than other lotions.

Very moisturizing lotion especially for dry skin. Lasts a long time.
