Young Pele: Soccer's First Star

This book is an investment in beauty. The pictures in it are just gorgeous. It was a Christmas gift for a friend's son for Christmas, and both she and I were just wowed by the beautiful paintings. It's heavier on beauty than on content, but it's in its own cataory. Lovely. I would hope that this thin volumn is one any child would save as a momento.

I love this book! My 4 year old son is a fan of Pele and while he cannot read this on his own, we enjoyed reading this book together from start to finish. I was also impressed by the illustrations. Very nicely done.

This was a very good book for my 8 year old grandson doing a report on Pele. Good for a 6-9 year old. Illustrations are very good.

A great story for my grandson who plays soccer. Inspirational and a story to teach children how to appreciate. Anything is possible 😊

Wonderful story, a true story too, which makes it all the more impressive in the eyes of the little ones, especially those who love kicking a ball around all day ;-)
