Pretty Good But worried about longevity
The V8 emblem looks great in a flat black. It looks great and understated (which is the look I was going for) on my high end metallic black car. The only concern I have is that the emblem is not solid on the back which leaves only a small amount of edge area for the adhesive backing to stick to. Additionally, when you press emblem on car you are really only pressing the adhesive backing against the car with the edges of the emblem which means the adhesive may not be well adhered in the middle sections of the emblem. You could solve this in part by affixing the adhesive on the car first and then remove the emblem side adhesive cover and add the emblem. The adhesion of the emblem to the adhesive backing is still a problem because of the small area for the backing to adhere to the emblem edge. I do like these emblems in general and have ordered a couple more in case the adhesion does not last very long. The maker may have been trying to make the emblem as light as possible when they made it hollow but I have a hard time believing there was not a hard plastic or aluminum that would have been pretty light and solid; or leave the eblem hollow but make it near solid on back side to increase adhesion area.

Nice emblem but not for a car! The size for a large truck.
This was misleading so be sure to read the small print about the size. When I received this this was way to big more like for a larger truck. Not for a car
