How often should I water the tree?

Water well after planting and keep the soil moist (not waterlogged) during the first growing season. Once established, most trees require only occasional watering in dry spells.

When is the best time to plant an outdoor tree?

The ideal planting time is autumn to spring while the tree is dormant. Container grown trees can be planted at any time of year if the ground isn’t frozen.

Does the tree require pruning?

Most trees need only light yearly pruning to maintain shape. Fast growing varieties or those grown for colourful foliage may require more frequent trimming.

Is this tree hardy enough for UK weather?

All our outdoor trees are fully hardy and suitable for UK climates. They tolerate frost, rain, and seasonal temperature changes once established.

Will the tree keep its leaves all year round?

This depends on the variety. Evergreen trees keep foliage year round, while deciduous trees naturally lose their leaves in autumn and regrow them in spring.
