Great fit for swapping out with a broken Pella storm door. Easy and quick! Does not come with hardware so save your screws!

Perfect fit as expected!
This was a perfect replacement fit as expected for my Pella door. Twelve years of wear finally killed the internal spring and it quit latching. It literally took me more time to figure out which kit to order than it did in actually installing it. Five minutes and I was done and it worked perfectly. I was advised by my local Lowes (which didn't have the part) to order OEM. Smart advice. The directions that come with the kit suck, but it's pretty simple and straightforward to remove and replace and there are videos on the web if you poke around and search.

Door works good as new!
The old lock body on our storm door kept sticking making it difficult to open. We purchased this new lock body and installed it with little effort. Our storm door works as good as new! I love that we saved money by using our original handles as well as not replacing the entire door.

Perfect replacement for Pella lock body that wouldnt open and was stuck closed
My Pella storm door had the problem where if you turned the handle, the latch would not retract inside the lock body and thus my door stuck stuck closed. To get it open to remove the old lock body I had to insert a thin piece of metal into the door jamb to swipe at the latch to get it to open.Once the door was open it was easy to remove the old lock body with 2 screws and 1 bolt that holds the deadbolt lock mechanism.Installing this new lock body took about 5 minutes and it fit the original perfectly and fixed the problem with the old lock body not retracting the latch.

Only found on Amazon!
Needed to replace this on our storm door right after we moved in. I searched everywhere and finally found on Amazon. I was worried that I did not have the correct part. It took me a few trys to get it installed because I have never done this before but if you follow the instructions it works out well! No issues in two months so I must have done something right. Great product, fits wells, and so happy I was able to find it here.

The Pella part you'll probably need
I have the Pella door with the built-in blinds, it's a few year old now. The other morning as I was leaving the entire door handle feel off, so I tried my best to fix it and I couldn't. I stopped at Lowes that evening and purchased the new handle set and thought that it would be fixed once I installed it. We'll the handle didn't fix it, you can't find the this lock mechanism in stores and at other online stores it's two or three times the price. I was very pleased to find the part so cheap and it's actually Pella. The part went on really easy and altogether it took around 15 to 20 minutes and that was installing a new handle as well. I really recommend this piece and the seller, shipping was fast.
