After buying what has felt like every type C lead known to man including using the stock oneplus conversion lead non would work with an external mic.This adaptor assumes a headphone / mic etc is connected immediately which means it works with the phone and more importantly allows for a quality external mic without the need of many adaptors and then lots of static.Only odd thing I have noticed is if your mic requires a powered supply this only works in one orientation, put the type c in the other way and it does not power the mic - bit confusing but some white paint will ensure it is the right way round for me.If you want to power a rode videomicro or similar you need this lead and a Audio Combo Splitter Cable (MUYHSMFFADW) or Rode SC7cable and finally either port the GCam over to the phone or use open camera

Does the job but the build quality is way below that of my official huawei one.I knocked it slightly and it seems to have misaligned the usb c side connector (see picture).On the other one, the audio jack side is extremely tight making it hard to remove my headphones.That said, you get 2,and it's pretty cheap - you get what you pay for i guess. They both do still work.

After mangling the adaptor which came with my phone I feared the cost of a replacement. I need not have worried. These are inexpensive, they arrived quickly and work as required. Good value.

Decent quality item, unfortunately these are anologue so they don't work with a whole bunch of devices, title is pretty useless as it's just a long list of phones it works with... Just put analogue...Wasted my time, I will be refunding.

They have just been delivered and on first impressions I think that they are a good product. I have tried them in my Moto z3 force and they work well. They also feel quite sturdy which is good because i tend to break headphones and adapters a lot. I bought another set that said that they would work with my Moto z3 but they did not so I sent them back and ordered these ones.

It works OK, but sound quality is not good, although the strong outer coating, it just does the job nothing else.

I couldn't try on other makes of phones so, I can't review for other phones except the one I have

Perfect, just what I have been looking for. Shame we have to use these as the USB C selection of headphones is poor.
