Understanding Normal and Clinical Nutrition

I bought this book for my nutrition class for my Nursing program. This is a great book! I loved learning about nutrition beforehand and this really gives me a solid knowledge in a so many areas of this subject. I really enjoy the post chapter highlights that cover everything from clinical nutrition to common health issues associated with food. This is a great buy and will definitely be a go to resource book for many years to come.

Exact book needed for school nutrition class. We like renting books as purchasing them on campus is horribly expensive, especially if you probably won't reference them again anyway. Easy to return as well.

This textbook saved me! While it is pretty large and in charge, I do believe it helped me tremendously in a few of my nutrition classes. It was used in a myriad of ways and I still reference it for many nutrition questions. I love this book!

Provides a comprehensive overview of normal and basic clinical nutrition. Very nice figures and tables accompanied by a clear text. Authors could extend review questions and case studies, add more details on physiology at the beginning of each clinical nutrition chapter, provide answers to case-study questions, and consider creating separate chapters for important disorders - e.g. eating disorders, diseases of pancreas etc.
