I like the container it’s pretty and once I use it, I can save the container and repurpose it. It smells kind of like I would say a fabric detergent that I used to use when it burns. It smells a little bit more musky, but after the smoke goes away, you can smell the fragrance Left behind. It does burn a lot faster than the actual charcoal piece so you have to keep replacing it and it does burn fast. Bought the three pack and after going through the first one I would say burn the charcoal and let the charcoal burn outside for a while as the charcoal has a scent of its own, which I personally don’t like I wanna get the burner that doesn’t require a charcoal and see how that works but I do like all of this smells they do smell pretty similar, except for the one with yLang Lang that one is definitely very floral. I think that’s my favorite. It will definitely last a lot more uses than a candle, and it does leave a sent behind for a lot longer than a candle.

This one smells really good. Idk why the other comments were saying that the Ibtisam scent doesn't smell good. It smells like amber with a subtle musk undertone. The scent is strong but it doesn't last long and it definitely has a calming effect. I'd get it again.

I really wanted to like this bakhoor, especially given the presentation. The packaging is elegant and gives the impression of a premium product. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end for me. Muattar bakhoor is traditionally made by curing quality wood chips with oils, resins, and aromatic ingredients so that they produce a rich, long-lasting fragrance when heated. In this case, the chips seemed more like ordinary pieces of wood lightly soaked in fragrance oil rather than genuine oud-based material. The aroma was one-dimensional, lacked the depth and complexity associated with good bakhoor, and the pieces burned out within seconds instead of releasing a sustained scent. I understand that “muattar” products are not necessarily pure agarwood, but I expected a much better quality blend at this price point. The “deep oud” description did not match my experience. It felt more like perfumed wood chips than authentic oud or a well-crafted muattar. Overall, beautiful packaging, but disappointing performance. I would not purchase it again.

what an amazing smell and it is legit bahor

I’ve been buying this for awhile now and my recent purchase was less than satisfactory. The wood was VERY sticky & the fragrance dissipated very quickly unlike in the past. There are also considerably larger pieces of wood in the jar. I am so disappointed because I’ve supported this brand (I also buy the solid square version for years ) and the quality of the products have changed. I would recommend this product but thought I would point this out at the onset of the experience. I’ve used half of the jar since my last purchase ( which was within the return window but thought it unethical to return it) which is a clear sign that I’m having to replace more often the wood under the tea light which normally, I’d replace maybe three times per week. I also steam the wood/square pieces in shallow water after using them and add to the mulch in my floral garden. Please, don’t diminish the quality of your product as I’m quite fond of it & a customer for years. Great packaging, lovely jar container
