program is exceptional. Originally I bought the combo pack.When I got it I was missing the intro CD; however, upon notifying them they offered to send me a brand new disc set and had excellent customer service. The truly do back their product and stand by it. I bought this to start from the beginning.the product is really in depth and helps you integrate into the language learning atmosphere and is very helpful in making sure that the user is prepared to be in japan and integrate into the society, rather then what other programs do (give you the tourist style lessons)very nice product, I recommend using that while taking a Japanese class for complete and in-depth understanding.Thank you for the great service and I hope you can go into the languages that serve the top economies of the world.-Mandarin .(China...its official language..even though Hakka, Wu, Mongolian, Cantonese and other dialects are still heavily used in many regions)-Spanish(Latin America)-Hindi (India)-Farsi (Arabic regions)...if you do I will buy all of the porgrams

I have purchased this for 2 different Mobile devices. The windows version is just an adaption of the mobile software. The subject matter only uses about 60% the screen at Max size and actually give you less viewing acreage than on my 7" tablet.

Easy to Use! An amazing e-book style guide! With lots of fun facts, explanations, insights, tests (that you can take over and over to improve your score) and an easy to follow outline! If you just want to learn a few phrases to impress your coworkers or what not, then this product is not for you. BUT, if you would like to immerse yourself into the world of Japanese language and to understand whats and hows of it, then buy this product. What helps a lot is that the person, who designed this disk, went through the same struggles to learn the language. All through out, he brings up some of the useful shortcuts, history behind subjects to help to remember better and wraps it all up in a fun package of "been there, done that" humor. If you are serious about learning Japanese and do not mind self teach yourself, this would be a great option for you...

Got for my highly motivated to learn Japanese 16 year old daughter. She's pretty much given it up because it's too random and confusing and moves on before you've really learned whatever they were trying to teach and it won't let you go back to go through it again.

If you want to learn Japanese and are on the border about getting this then do not fear. This cd is literally a Sensei in a box and the man who wrote this deserves an award. I learned to write almost the entire Japanese alphabets (Hiragana and Katakana) in a very short amount of time as well as the stroke orders. I stopped my learning but I have ingrained many of what I have been taught. The Human Japanese is so great and much better than Rosetta stone and those others. If only they had stuff like this for other languages as well. This is amazing and I highly recommend getting it!

Human Japanese is the best program I have ever used to study Japanese with. The chapters have great information but carry a relaxed tone as if you were being taught face to face versus from a textbook. The quizzes and chapter reviews are excellent! I cannot wait to buy the intermediate program. I can now carry a basic conversation in Japanese with confidence and finesse, thanks to Human Japanese! I highly recommend this program to anyone who is wanting to check off the "Learn a New Language in a Short Amount of Time" off their bucket list and to people who would love to learn more about the Japanese culture. Amazing product!

Initial problems with a non-playing CD-Rom speedily resolved, contact established with Brak Software and a very personal, courteous interest taken in my progress with the course. It looks exciting and challenging, and I can't wait to get started! Warmest thanks, Brian.
