Decorative Versa Fence Louver System, Perfect for Gardens, Patios and Outdoor Spaces, Indoor and Outdoor Use, 2 Pack

We needed to cover an 8’x8’ space on our pergola and, after reading several reviews that mentioned how sturdy these were, we decided to give them a try. When they arrived, I was surprised to see the frames were plastic- I honestly didn’t think they could support 2x6x8 boards. But to my surprise, they held up just fine. The louvers have now been through several hot spring and summer months and are still working perfectly. Installation was straightforward, but I’d caution anyone thinking of using them across a full 8’ span: boards that long are prone to warping under extreme conditions (see attached photo). Even so, the shade and privacy they provide have made a big difference in our sitting area, especially in the morning sun. We like them so much, we’re planning to install more in other parts of our yard that need shade.

I LOVE THIS! For the last YEAR, I have been trying to figure out a way to make this type of a partition around our hot tub in the back yard for privacy. ALSO because I want to use our hot tub in the winter and do not enjoy cold weather. Imaging my surprise when i realized someone already had designed this and we didn't have to invent one!! We put up a 6-8 foot fence around our back yard. We have a 12X12 porch area with a hot tub. Now during hot weather we can leave the louvers open for a breeze or closed to keep the cold/breeze out during the winter. ABSOUTLY LOVE THEM (we kept them tight so we have to hold on to the actual slats to close and open, but that was OUR decision) there is a small strip on the louver you can use to slide..

Worked great for my privacy fence for my patio. I used 5/4 by 6 cedar decking to make the adjustable slats. Beautiful

Found Flex Fence active louver kit as a great solution to closing in our porch for more privacy but keeping the option to enjoy warm midday sun. Louver panels are 1x6 pin. Thought I'd use 2 kits because I misunderstood the max 48 inch width spec . For my installation, it's 48 inch max height. Made the 9 ft span work w/o a center post. Access to the connector bar was limited so the brackets are upside down and flex a bit more than I'd wish. Work hard to install the bracket bolts VERY straight into the post. Wish I had 3 hands at times to install the screws into the brackets but overall quite happy.

So easy to install! I didn’t use the black size #10 screws as they stripped at the head way too easily (cheap China soft metal, no doubt)!! And since the screws for the bracket would be covered by the wood slats (bought at Home Depot), I used #10 tan deck screws 2-1/2” long! 1”x6” boards fit perfectly; I just had to cut the length to the opening dimensions of the pair of brackets that it will attach to! Love these!

Used this as a privacy wall for a deck and also to leave open for air flow.

I used on my deck with 1x6 cedar boards. Look great and function well allowing me to close when we need to block sun but we also found they are great to keep the blowing rain off the deck. Easy to open & close

The product is very nice I wish there was a handle of some sort to allow the customer to open the product and close the product but it works very nice very easy to work with I like the plastics because it's not going to rust but it is kind of flimsy but I would definitely recommend the product overall
