ClosetMaid 3103 Pull Out Trash Bin, 24-Quart, White

I love having the trash hidden away rather than a can sitting in the kitchen. With this it is out of sight and still easily accessible. Directions were easy to understand and installation was simple. Our cabinets have a little less clearance than most which made it hard to find one that fit. This one was the perfect size.I have wanted a pull out trash can for a long time but the price of them kept me from buying them. I was amazed when I found this on Amazon. I have never seen one priced this good. This is the best price I have found anywhere for a pull out trash can. Most other brands are twice the price. The quality of construction is as good as others I have seen making this an amazing bargain.

The installation was simple and the unit works perfectly to fit in a base cabinet with somewhat smaller doors. The only negative is one must be sure to push the bin back fully in before closing the cabinet door. The sliding deck the bin sits on has a sharp metal edge. The metal will scratch the interior surface of a wood door if your push the door to move the bin completely inside the cabinet.

This roll under the counter trash can was exactly what I needed and wanted. I do wish they came with a lid, however....Was easy to install and works just great!

Not sure why the instructions say to set the base back one inch from the front of the cabinet. I think it is too far back, a half inch or less would be more appropriate. The main issue is when I go to remove the trash, the top of the can gets caught on the top of the cabinet opening. But I already screwed it in, so I'm not going to bother to move it. Otherwise this is a great trash can. Very sturdy. Fits perfectly under the sink, even with a large garbage disposal under there.

This is a replacement for the original that we broke after several months. The plastic wheels that are mounted to the metal slides are press fit on. It's not possible to push down on the trash without popping them off accidentally. While it's not a good design or build, I was willing to replace it when it broke because it's convenient for keeping the trash can off my kitchen floor.

I ordered this in January, broke in July... I gave it another chance because that's what I like to do. After 1 month of use it broke again! the back wheels keeps falling off, I will be returning this item immediately.

I bought this set to replace an old identical one that became crooked and did not move smoothly. The new one turned out worse than the old one: the fixed and moving frames are misaligned and don't move smoothly at all. I ended up fixing the old set and returning the new one to amazon.I cannot be sure if it was a lemon or their quality degraded so much, but I will be looking elsewhere next time.

This was the easiest item I have ever had to install in my life! These comments are coming from the "girliest" person you will ever meet... "Manual Labor" just isn't in my vocab. :) We have a garbage disposable under the sink that I thought would get in the way but it fit perfectly. I think regular sized shopping bags may be a tad too small (especially if the first item is really heavy- it will drag the bag down) but you can still make it work. Very happy with this purchase!
