I bought this as a surprise Xmas present for my grandaughter she absolutely loves it, she thought the design was wonderful and says her vinyls sound really great.

Bought as a birthday present for my teenage son who has just discovered vinyl and now he’s playing my stuff from the 80s and his grandad’s from the 60s. Good little bit of kit. Not fantastic but just the job for someone who’s wants a bit of fun.

A nice little unit that performs how you would expect a record player to perform that costs less than record players used to cost in the 1980s.It is solid and robust enough whilst feeling cheaply made. The tonearm is virtually weightless. but the action on the tonearm lever is smooth enough that you don't risk scratching your records and records appeared to play well without skipping or jumping even when slightly warped. Speeds seemed accurate too.A small niggle is that auto shut off is at the wrong angle of the tonearm so that it cuts off the end of some singles when played. I just switched it off and it was fine.The biggest criticism is the weedy speaker. As suggested elsewhere, there's very little bass. Okay for most of the 80s chart music I was playing, but might irk some. It does have slots at the back for red and white RCA cables to try it through better speakers, but I didn't bother.As you'd expect, it's a cheap record player for a bit of nostalgia, not intended for music purists. As the former, it performs well and I enjoyed jumping around the living room to my childhood tunes.Note, missing from the description is that this is mains operated (not battery operated) and that it comes with a jukebox single insert and a spare needle (at least mine did).

Worth every penny

Missing the plastic record stabiliser that should come in it's recessed storage location and turn table scuffs whilst turning, quite annoying when listening on low volume.

Got this for my grandson but we both love it well made lovely design and packs quiet a punch audio wise very pleased
