Finally my favorite book series in Manga Form! I loved it! some of the characters were not what I had in mind but that's the great thing about manga's. I really enjoyed it though and it really keeps true to the original book actually really close, enough that if you had never read the book you would still get all the story from the manga without having missed anything. Now I bought this one not knowing that there is an explicit version but if someone hadn't told me about it I would think this was the explicit adult book the scenes are there just no peeks at the genitalia. ( have no idea what's so explicit, guess I will have to buy the other version to find out) If you don't want to see that then this book is perfect but either way good.

The whole series need to be done like this. I read the series and it was hillarious and sad and lovable!!And done as manga it really brought it to life. The drawings was damn good and I love how the funny bits are exaggerated.Btw why in Goddess name does Maveric has his glasses on all the time? Even during sex?? Did he use sunglasses inside in the series? Stupid glip...

It's simple, Manga is just not for me. I was expecting something erotic and romantic and when it said explicit I also expected details. There were none. You got the vague idea of what was going on and that was it. Bodies and positions but not details. The initial claiming was a tad on the gross side. All the slobbering going on in the pictures didn't help. In fact, all of the sex scenes were decidedly unsexy. The written word did not, in this case and my mind, transfer well to this genre. It also became uncomfortable when the characters became child-like cartoons. That and sex just do not go together in my mind. I hate to say it, but for me, this ruined the story. I did much better with my own imagination and I believe I'll stick with that from now on. My rating for Ms. Hagen's original story was 5 stars on Goodreads. Maybe if I re-read the original story it will wipe my mind of this fiasco.

It was cute! Totally would read others except they really need to work on the cover art needs to be as good as the book art.

I love this book. And to see it manga form just made it even more awesome. I would recommend this boom to anyone who has read the series or someone who is just finding the series. I hope the whole series is given their own book.

Loved IT!!!!!!!!! But I have been a fan of Lynn Hagen since I first pick up Maverick's Mate on my Kindle and haven't looked backI Love the Graphic Novel and can't wait for more.i think I will also get the Kindle version

After reading this I spent the next four hours trying to search for the second. And when I couldn't find it, I spent the next three hours trying to figure out if there will be a second. I really enjoyed it.

This could have been a really good manga, but it felt rushed and the scenes stilted, like an abbreviated version of a book. The characters weren't developed, it was way too short, and the main character, Maverick, wasn't drawn well, he looked the same angry, bored, or horny, and the sex scenes were boring. The manga is to be continued, which is a shame. They should have developed it better to feel like a story within itself or finished the story arc within this volume. Way too expensive a manga for such shoddy treatment. Fans of Lynn Hagen may like this, but it's not for me. Very disappointing.

I had already read the book but reading it as a Manga Book brought the story to life. It some of thedrawing i would have love some more details in it but apart from that it was great. If you can not read both the book or ebook this is great in introducing you to the Brac Pack.

I wish the following mangas of the Brac Pack saga were already available to us avid fans !! The découpage or cinematic sequence-like of this manga, the stylized and stylish page setting, the layout, the framings or key visuals, all those would partake I’d say of a vibrant dynamism that beautifully showcase and enhance an uncluttered type of visual art, with a refined pattern – quite magnetic indeed ! This is the art of getting down to the essentials indeed, and I just love Nekito’s characters, Cecil and Maverick ahead ! It’s quite true to the novel, page after page, shift after shift, twists and turns, and it’s all the more appreciable. As for the child-like cartoons, I just loved them too, sweet, tongue-in-cheek and cute !! “Details” weren’t necessary indeed in the sex scenes, and it’s much better and more arty such as it is. No vulgarity, but beautifully done suggestive positions – perfect ! Thank you so much, dear Nekito Ototo ! Can’t wait now for Johnny and Hawk’s story to come to life in turn !!

Es exactamente lo que pensé que sería; los personajes don tal cual los imaginaba. Si te gusta Lynn Hagen y el manga, debes tenerlo. Muy contenta con la compra. Espero que saquen los demás libros.

Un comic de una serie de libros que ya he leido y me ha encantado, lo recomiendo por que esta muy bien dibujado, los personajes de los que ya habia leido, en realidad son como me habia imaginado.
