Intense Therapy Lip Balm, 0.25-Oz. – SPF 25 Sun Protection, Lip Moisturizer, Hydrating Lip Balm with SPF, Lip Sunscreen

I bought a bunch of these, so hopefully my review helps somebody out who is having a hard time deciding between them. First off, I normally only use Burt's Bees, and I generally avoid these types of thinner balms that have the weird plastic tip that you wipe all over your lips. However, I was pretty impressed by this one. The best part about it is the fact that it absorbs into your lips quite quickly, so you aren't left with a greasy feeling or shiny look at all. I think this stuff is great to use when you're planning to be outside and need a little SPF protection on your lips, or if you find that your lips are just really chapped during winter or something. This won't completely replace my stick of Burt's Bees, but I think it's a worthy addition that I tend to reach for daily. It's worth mentioning that these are not "flavored" lip balms. You can't taste any of these flavors, you can only smell them. If you run your tongue over the balm, it has zero taste, but my nose can smell the scents for about a half hour to an hour after applying. I was a little nervous that the SPF was going to have that bitter taste that some lip balms with sunscreen tend to have, but not this one. I almost forgot it actually had sun protection in it. *Natural Mint*: Probably the best flavor, the mint is really natural smelling and you feel the tingle on your lips, which I like. The mint is very soft, we're not talking toothpaste mint or anything like that. Definitely my favorite of the balms, and the one I will be re-ordering. *Black Tea and Blackberry*: Not bad, I was hoping for better. Blackberry is the main note, and then you get a little musky/slightly bitter smell at the end. My issue with this scent is that it smells pretty feminine, and it's quite strong. *Grapefruit and Ginger*: Big ginger notes here, not as much grapefruit as I was hoping for. Probably good for the summer. Lemon and Chamomile: Again, just okay. Lots of lemon, and a bit herbal. I'd probably go for either of the other ones above over this one. Shea Butter And Vitamin E: Smells pretty much like shea butter, if you've smelled body lotions that have it as a main ingredient. It's kind of nutty, almost like hazelnut or something. I would suggest getting this if you DON'T like mint, and hate most scents. This is pretty neutral and not noticeable. Honestly, I think they should discontinue all of the scents aside from Natural Mint and the Shea Butter (for those that don't want scents). The other smells are nice, but I really just couldn't ever see myself using them regularly. Still though, the balm was consistent and worked great across all of the scents, but the added tingle of the Natural Mint made it a clear winner.

i heavily endorse this product, it has really helped me keep my lips from getting chronically painfully chapped the way they used to. however, it’s a pretty damn expensive product. $7-8 per tube is not nothing. so for this to be brand new and have this large of an air bubble that was taking up more than half of the tube and this is what i have left after using this tube maybe three times is pretty unacceptable to me. feels like a huge waste of money.

Great product. Husband uses every day. Perfect size. Glad that it has SPF in it. Would be great for stocking stuffers, Father’s Day, or man’s birthday! I like the way the peppermint smells and taste on him.

THIS IS A BOMB! (GET IT, "LIP BALM"? LOL) THE FOLLOWING IS SIMPLY MY OWN OPINION, I AM NOT A DR. The joke in my family is that I WAS BORN WITH CHAPPED LIPS! Fed up, I went on a hunt for the HIGHEST RATED ON AMAZON & BEST RANKED BY THE EXPERT COMPARISONS I COULD FIND. Two kept coming up over & over. This was the 1 I chose: PROS: - it had something like 45k / 4.5 star reviews - the websites that did studies of people wearing the different types, said this was the best for severely dry, cracked lips - it didn't have what people react to & aggravate the skin (perfume, scents, certain products). It seals in the moisture (so they said) DESPITE THE $10 PRICE TAG FOR WHAT I KNEW WOULD BE A TINY TUBE, I JUMPED AT RELIEF MY IMPRESSION: - within less than 12hrs of using it, my lips were far worse - they hurt & tingle & felt like they would crack open & I had used it once - it's not an "allergic reaction" bc I have no redness, sores, etc - it feels like... maybe if I keep using it over & over I'll get some relief, but I won't ever be able to be without it TONIGHT I PUT A PLAIN OLD PRODUCT ON MY LIPS & THEY ALREADY FEEL CALMER. WELCOME RELIEF! IF YOU DO BUY THIS, PLEASE GO SLOWLY.

Love this lip gloss! It’s smooth, not sticky, and gives a beautiful shine while keeping my lips moisturized. The color is flattering and perfect for everyday wear. Will definitely buy again!

i've been using jack black lip balm for years; it's pricey, but it works better than any other balm i've tried. still, am disappointed in their support. i got one balm that had lumps in it, and decided, since it's expensive, to contact the company. i got an email back requesting photos (of the lot # and date), and a copy of the receipt. thought this would lead to a credit (or something). but they pointed me back to amazon. and the idea of setting up a return of a single lip balm is absurb; my time and energy are worth more than that. anyway, this is crappy customer service, for a product that i will, ultimately, stick with. so it goes.

I have to write a review on this product because finally I found something that works for me in so little time. I have very dry dry dry and chapped lips. No matter the weather the season, anything. I've tried so many lip balms in my life. They worked for about half hour and then I have to apply it again and again. I was doing some research and I found out about this product. I said to myself "if is expensive have to work". Well I had to give a try. OMG!!!! I'm honest, this lip balm works!!!!!. I received it on Wednesday June 2nd and I started to use it when I went to bed. I put it on my lips just one time (the others I had to applied about 3 time in the middle of the night) I was amazed how this lip balm stays all night, When I wake up I felt my lips moisturized and hydrated. I love the natural mint and cooling sensation on my lips and the SPF 25 sunscreen protection is great for me because when I'm in the sun I burn easily. During the day I noticed that I just have to apply it twice. Of course I have to eat,,you know. Also repels with water, when I drink water I noticed that. Is AMAZING!!!!! Today was the first time that I tried it with my lipstick and I'm so happy because my lips feel hydrated all day . I have to buy more because this product works. In just few days I don't have chapped lips anymore. I forgot to take a pic before and after, sorry. If you have the same problem like me with dry and chapped lips and you are looking for something that can help you take my word for it and give it a try you will not regret it. I thank God for this product and God bless the company that made it.

I always have chapped lips. I naturally have sensitive and dry skin so even if I'm hydrated and even exfoliate my lips, they still get chapped very quickly. I tried Chapstick, Vaseline, EOS, and Rose Salve; they moisturize only as long as they are on. Once they're gone I have chapped lips again. The only comparable product to my JB balm was Urban Decay's Lip Love (the one with honey which is sadly discontinued). This is the only lip product I have that will actually heal my chapped lips and make them soft again. The scent is lovely and a little goes a long way. I wish I could get more product for the price, but it's the best that I have so far. Edit: I repurchased the same balm and received a balm with a different ingredient list. It does not work anywhere near as well as the old formula. I've added photos of each balm. Left is the orignal formula, right is the new one. Note the differences between blue tube packaging and of course the different ingredient lists.

Buen producto, lo que puedo recalcar es que el producto es espeso lo que evita que se absorba rápido por lo que mantiene los labios protegidos por más tiempo, su aroma es muy agrable, me gusta mucho.

I ordered this lip balm not expecting much as I have tried so many over the years and none have helped my chronically dry lips. I apply this at night time and it is thick enough to stay put without feeling greasy. I was slightly worried about the flavour as I thought that the ginger would tingle but to be honest I cannot taste the ginger. If you like a lip balm that nourishes your lips with the nasty's in other products then I would definably not hesitate to recommend this.

Absolutely love it! The balm stays for a longer period of time and the effect is long lasting repeated applications leave lips soft and I have also used it to soften lips before applying lip crayons or lipstick. I like the thick consistency and love the peppermint smell. No chapped lips or corners.

Descubrí esta marca hace poco y me impresionó por lo que decidí probar este bálsamo ya que siempre he sufrido de resequedad en los labios. Desde el primer día de uso sentí la diferencia, una mínima cantidad es suficiente para hidratar los labios, este tiene un sabor neutro y tiene un ligero olor a menta, lo que más me gustó es que no se siente para nada aceitoso. Lo recomiendo mucho, el precio está un poco elevado para ser un bálsamo pero rinde mucho.

Weather in Poland is difficult - it rains, snows, it's cold, windy, and then in the summer is sunny and hot. After pretty much snow-less but extremly cold winter my lips were dry and patchy and nothing helped. I tried Carmex (which really doesn't do much for me), Nivea, tried loads of regular cremes (including kids creams). They helped to soothe them but nothing more. I needed more. I read that some bloggers were recommending Jack Black lip balms - and I decided to try. I decided on two "safe" scents - one of them was Black Tea and Blackberry. The smell in not strong at all - it's actually rather subtle - and really nice. The balm is AMAZING - left my lips extreamly soft, moistured, healed, and healthy. I truly felt the difference after just two-three uses. The SPF is a huge plus. Now I have been using it for quite some time - and I must admit that I'm addicted. I don't use any other lip balms. Highly recommend.
