Timberland PRO Men's Titan 6 Inch Composite Safety Toe Work Boots

I have big feet. Not just big, but wide. And tall. That's a difficult combination for anyone, but especially for a woman. I am required to wear safety shoes for my job and we are allowed to purchase a new pair every year. The shoes have to be leather and have a safety toe. I have bad ankles, so a boot works much better for me since it offers additional support and stability. I've tried on many pairs from many brands and I always come back to these. The wide width fits me well throughout. The fit in the toe box is especially important - this toe box is cut more generously than others I've tried, both in width and height. The composite toe is wonderful. It protects while weighing so much less than your standard steel toe. My only complaint is that the metal eyelets at the top come loose over time. I wish they'd fix that - it's happened on every pair I've had. But since nothing else matches the comfort and fit of these for me, I'll keep buying them as long as they make them.

The shipping was right on time as promised. Next Day for $3.99.The boots are broken in 1 day. I work for Amazon as a Facilities Tech III and am on my feet for 10 hours a day. Walking on concrete is not as easy as thought by most. The right footwear is Vital to doing my job to the highest standards. It is impossible to concentrate on work with aching feet . Also the recovery time at home is at a minimal level due to the quality of these boots. I recommend these boots to all workers and The price and shipping from AMAZON is the best and hard to beat. Sizing was on target for me with these boots.I received comments on the quality look of these boots on the very first day. I do not recommend many products or services but A+++ on Timberland Pro and especially AMAZON for getting them to my front door in 1 day.This transaction changed my mind about online buying and I am now a Prime Member because it will pay for itself in a very short time. I haven't even had mine a month yet... as others have previously complained about - the lace "grommets" are a plastic/metal combination & 1 has already pulled out of the boot. I have been buying the "Titan Pro" black boots for about 8 years now for work. I've never had THIS issue before! After doing some digging on it, I founf that there is 2 different models of this boot made... this one (50507 - 1st picture?) that has these cheap eyelets/grommets all the way up the boot & the other one (50506? - 2nd picture?) that has completely metal eyelets/grommets along with the "speed" eyelets (wrap around) for the top of the boot. Apparently the 50506 is what I've had in the past (& what I'll stick with as well). There isn't anything wrong with this boot if you don't wear your boots "tight", otherwise I can pretty much guarantee these eyelets will pull out... I wear all of my lace-up shoes/boots "tight" as I get the support I need. I work on forklifts for a living & as such am on my feet all day long - could be walking/standing, crouching, kneeling or even sitting on the floor crosslegged, these boots have been great & I usually get about 1.5 yrs use out of them (unless I cause damage to them).I will be trying to return this model & getting the correct one - and recommend anyone else with the same eyelet issue do the same as the other model is truly a great boot!!

I love my new boots! I work in Amazon warehouses all over the U.S. And I have to walk ALL day so I've been looking for a great pair of boots that feel very good and I think I found what I was looking for! Only thing about the boots that I don't mind but some people will is that they scuff pretty easily so they'll have that "used" look in less than a week if you don't treat them well but honestly I was looking for Great boots to work in. They're still really nice and I expect them to last for awhile. The best thing about them has to be that I can walk through a metal detector with them on because they're not steel toe and because of that they feel MUCH lighter which means you won't get fatigued as quickly. I definitely recommend these boots to any guy needing great boots. It's much easier if you're a construction worker and you don't have to always take your boots of going through a metal detector!

I am a auto tech, I use these 5 days a week, for 10 hours a day and I usually get 2+ years out of them. I am very hard on my boots, I kick stuff I constantly drag my heels, I kneel a lot and these just last and last. Oh and they are extremely comfortable! I just ordered my 3rd pair because they where on sale not because mine needed to be replaced..I honestly think I'll get another 6 months to a year before I start using my most recent pair. I have a wide foot and my feet don't feel cramped at all in these boots.

They are some of the nicest boots I owned so far. I was looking for something that I could wear through the metal detectors at the airports, and they do a very good job at this. They are lighter than the traditional steel cap boots, but not as bulky as some of the other composite ones. Sizing was fine, I bought my usual size and they fit nicely.They do not have any metal fittings, and only time will tell if the plastic ones are durable enough, but they look to be quite well made. After one day of wearing they definitely feel very comfortable and they did not hurt my feet at all.For the price I think they are a good deal, and if they last 18-24 months I will buy them again.

This is my second pair of Timberland Pro Titan work boots. My first pair was purchased for about $50 more than what I paid here on Amazon.Pros, Comfortable, very light weight, flexible, composite instead of steel toe (lighter and doesn't freeze), good traction on ground and on roofs. Saved $50 on Amazon vs my local shoe store, metal eyes for laces so they don't pull out.Cons, My first pair of these boots barely made it through year and that was wearing a different pair of boots for months with snow on the ground. The uppers of the boots, while worn and scratched from work were doing okay, however I had the split sole problem mentioned in other reviews of this boot. It split right across the ball of my foot. It was a small crack at first through which water would seem on rainy days making the foot instantly wet, and within a week or two of the small crack it straight broke.I may have been able to contact Timberland and gotten a new pair under warranty but after a year I didn't think to try. If this pair of boots does the same thing, I'll try that. And even if they don't replace I'll probably buy another pair. $100~ /year is not a bad price for comfortable work boots.

Obviously heavier than comparable non-safety toe shoes, but still wearable all day. Seems like the leather used in these is sturdier or more scratch resistant than other work shoes by the same maker. I've been wearing these for about 2 weeks now, good work shoes, I'm on me feet all day as a delivery driver. My only concern is to the durability of the soles, which is typically what I kill in my work boots. But only time will tell on that issue. I'm a size 12-ish, a 12 1/2 would be perfect in most shoes, but I've mostly gone to 12-wide with my work boots which seems to be working well. The wide also allows for nice thick winter boot socks, I would also recommend no more cheap socks from a giant bag for everyday or summer use. Your feet will thank you for these shoes as well as better socks.

Light weight and comfortable, fits to size

After a week and a half of wearing these boots, averaging 22,000 steps per shift in my current role, I find them consistently comfortable throughout my workday. Sizing up, as suggested by another reviewer, proved beneficial; my usual size would likely have been too snug. All advertised safety features are present and appear robustly constructed. The materials, particularly around the laces, toe, and heel seams, exhibit excellent durability. A more comprehensive review will follow in a couple of months.
