The Program for Better Vision: How to See Better in Minutes a Day: Without Glasses or Contacts!

Modern medicine seems to be buildng crutches--not cures.
I bought this book because I have a history of doctors who just guess. Years ago the eye doctor had me on contacts and glasses. One day I was frustrated while trying to thread a needle and removed the contact which had least correction for farsightedness. When I did that suddenly I COULD SEE not just to thread the needle but everything much better. So for almost 15 years I use one contact and if I take it out I use the glasses for driving distance. On my last eye doctor visit with a new doctor he said I was wearing too strong a lens. So he reduced my prescription by 50%. Now 6 months after that change my contact was bothering me and making it hard to read and watch TV. So I took it out. Voila! Suddenly I could see everyday things much better, read, watch TV. But I have been wearing my glasses for distance for driving. But I am finding little difference between wearing and not wearing my glasses starting to occur. So I bought this book to see if there was anything more I could do to improve my eyes to rid myself of the glasses as well. I have been doing some of the exercises recommended and I am noticing more clearer vision. This book again shows that medicine is many times treating the symptoms and ignoring the cures. Many times our vision needs exercise to bring back the strength in the muscles of eye and help us to relearn how to see. If you walk on crutches without ever trying to learn to walk, you will need crutches all your life. Modern medicine seems to be building crutches not cures.

My Favorite Vision Book
I can't share a personal testimonial yet, because I haven't been looking into vision improvement for very long. However, compared to five other books on vision improvement, this is my favorite because the author discusses several aspects of vision, including posture, vision habits, mindset, nutrition, and more (rather than focusing on just one or two, as others do), he organizes his thoughts well, he explains things well, and he shares numerous testimonials. The book is large, with a comfortable size of print. What I particularly appreciate about this book is the section on nutrition, as this was missing from other vision books, and I know it's an important factor. I compared the nutrition information he shared with another book I have about the purpose of each vitamin and mineral, and found it to be consistent.

Not the Best Way to Improve Vison
When I bought this book, I was searching for a way to improve my myopia. While the book gave some valuable tips, it was not the full answer to getting rid of myopia. Through lots of internet searching, I found the best way is a gradual reduction through Jake Steiner's method (completely free) at endmyopia.org or Cliff Gnu's method on youtube (completely free). I am using Cliff Gnu's method and have basically halved my prescription over time and am still working on it. So I would not recommend buying this book, because for me, it was a waste of money.

The Program for Better Vision (audio CD)
Unfortunately, I cannot review this product because I never received it. Instead of the audio CD I ordered, the book of the same title was sent. I purchased the book several months ago. My efforts to contact Amazon.com were futile and the only recourse open to me was to get a replacement. I was charged $59.00 dollars for this product which is a greater price than the book. I want a refund, but Amazon.com will only allow a replacement, which I do not want or need. I am furious that I cannot speak with a customer service person and that no customer service e-mail address is available.

I expected something different
It's an OK program....I don't know if my sight has gotten any better.Maybe if I used it more religiously I would get more out of it.

I found the book helpful.
This book is informative. It probably helps improve vision if you are willing to commit to doing the eye exercises consistently.
