Did the job ... no complaints
Great product. Came with a masonry bit the correct size for the screws. So far I've put in about a dozen of these without a problem. If this is the first time your attaching things to concert, cinder block, brick, etc then:- know what your putting up before you buy your screws ... buy the correct size screw for each item. Screws should be sized to be between 1" and 1-3/4" into the concrete. The reason for this is you need a minimum of an inch for the screw to hold. The maximum depth is because the lead edge of the screw cuts the threads into the concrete and may not last beyond 1-3/4". If this happens the screw may break ... causing problems usually involving verbal self abuse!! So, go for a screw in that range after taking the thickness of your item into account.- know that material your putting it into will hold your item. If it's obvious ... go for it. If you have any doubts you might want to research it or ask someone in the know. - Use a hammer drill and carbide tipped drill bits the right size for the screw ... This item comes with the right bit. But you can search the web for "conset bit size" for this info if you need to. If you don't have a hammer drill ... it's worth the investment. Get a decent tool ... don't go cheap. I use it a lot and for more then just concrete.- You want to drill about 1/2" further then where the end of the screw will be. I usually wrap some electrical tape around the bit, at the right bit depth, so I know where to stop. - Allow the hammer drill to do the work (i.e. just light pressure) and clear the hole every 1/2" or so. Clean out hole before putting in screw. You will find that it's all much easier then you thought. And most importantly ... Remember to Have fun.

I sunk about 175 of these recently, and they work great. I started off drilling my holes with a slightly worn SDS bit in my rotohammer. I broke the SDS bit after about 125 holes, so I switched to the new (included) bit in another hammer drill. The screws drove a lot smoother after that. I'd recommend using the new bit right away and making it a little easier on yourself.I used a Makita 18V impact driver with a 5/16" hex bit to drive these screws. It was kind of rough on that little guy, but it did the job.

Good quality, well priced
I havenโt used the from this order, but I have ordered these before and have used them successfully. I mostly used them to board up my concrete block house in preparation for a hurricane. They compare very well with tapcons. I preferred to drive these in with a socket rather than with a phillips head bit like I was used to.

Buy a new bit for the pilot holes. Hammer drill and Impact driver makes for an easy job!
No complaints at all here. Get the right sized socket and an impact driver you have one and these things go in beautifully.I do suggest going to the hardware store and buying a BOSCH 3/16 masonry bit though to make the pilot hole (MAKE SURE TO YOU A HAMMER DRILL!). The one that comes with it is junk (or at least the one I got was). Still a great price for these anchors.

Treads often fail...
Bought a box of 100 ยผ x 3 ยผ for securing 2 x 4's (flat side) through 1x4 shims to concrete (total wood thickness = 2 ยผ"). I drill a plenty deep hole of proper diameter. I've experienced about a 50% failure rate where the screw threads become worn to a point where the screws simply rotate freely. I first used an impact driver, but on only 2 of 20 screws did it manage to fully "set" the screw. In most cases, I've resorted to a ratchet and tightened them by hand, and still experienced a large percentage of failures. So I ran out and got a couple boxes of SPAX. No problem whatsoever with those - they work every time. Very disappointed in the MKT's.
