Nice book
I use the term "book" loosely considering the size of this thing... but nonetheless, it has a nice message and makes itself for easy reading. I finished this book in about 15 or 20 minutes after taking my time. The shipping cost as much as the book did for me and I'm not entirely sure if it was worth the money but I suppose it's something I can pass along to friends without much worry about losing it.Take home message: Nice little book detailing ways to increase your productivity and satisfaction in your day-to-day life. It probably is around 60 pages and many of those pages have very little writing on it. Substance wise, you will feel a little ripped off, but at least it is a quick read.

Small compact hardcover book.
I was moved to purchase this book for our Grandson when I read what it was about. The fact it is a small compact hardcover book, makes it perfect for our Grandson to read on his trip to Air Force Basic Training in January.

Nice short inspiration book but not for the money. Most of the pages are just quotes or statistics. Should cost less.
This book was nice but not very long. Most of the pages were quotes or statistics. It will get you started thinking about how much time you waste and it gives you a few ways in the back to started on not wasting your time. In my opinion, this book should cost 1/2 of what it does. Not worth the money I paid.

This book is one you refer to throughout your life.
This is a great book and inspirational to getting you to push just a little more, but there's a huge benefit in making that extra push. I've realized this watching the Olympics, sometimes the difference between the first and second place winners are a matter of 100ths of seconds. What if we applied that extra push in our every day lives? how much more would we produce?

One degree higher or 1% more and the difference can be staggering
In many respects a straightforward simple concept of a book with simple examples that are hard hitting. I liked the examples that 2 minutes here and there add up so quickly to a substantial amount of time. It's easy to reflect on things in your own life where a small change could add up to a big improvementSometimes it's easy to expect big change to be complex and sometimes it's just not

Great book since it came out around 2001. I mainly use it now with my 11 year old wards.
Any simpleton can read this book and say 'I got it!'. Just a little additional effort can make the difference. This is where they miss the main point, the concept is simple, the application takes a lifetime. The MNC I worked with when the book came out used it for years with new managers to help them get focused on how 'they' could make a difference. Even then, after the first day of training, the majority would insist they 'got it'. We then interweaved the concept into the rest of their training with the point of 'How are YOU going to apply this back in your office?'.I mainly use it now with 11 year olds. That would be 5th graders here in the USA. Do they want to spend 10 more minutes playing HALO or studying for the 5th grade YE standardized test that can effect their entire life. The child will opt for HALO. What will their parents do?

one degree more
I read about this book in 'Banking on America' which is a great book that chronicles TD's history, and their current move into the US market. In the book some of TD's manager's refer to 212 degrees, and how it had made an impact on them. This book is written a little differently and I certainly prescribe and understand the philosophy of doing just a little better. The difference between normal water, and boiling water is just one degree. To see the one degree in action read Josh Waitzkin's book 'The Art of Learning' There is a guy that turned it up one degree.I do think the book itself could have turned it up 'one degree' more.

too short
This books cover and name were very enticing to pick up but the content are quite a let down. It is just a book of quotes with a few soaring lines
