Solid, but needs two improvements
It’s a solid item and everything I want. BUT…. Two issues why I’m returning it. The shackle can be stolen by some one just unscrewing it or fall off from road vibration. It needs to have a locking pin on it. Second, you can’t get a tow hook on it it’s so thick. Kinda defeats the purpose for me.

Receiver light, shackle heavy.
I got this for my RTV. Made very well, however the shackle was heavier than I wanted. I got an aluminum shackle set from same company and the combo is perfect. Very happy with gear America!

It works!
I keep this on my truck in the winter, since people tend to get stuck in the snow and ice near me. I finally got the chance to use this particular recovery hitch/shackle the other day when an Amazon Flex driver got stuck in my driveway. I pulled their Accord about 100 feet up my fairly steep road without any issues. It still looks band new. I can't wait to use it again!

No es igual que el primero
Es el segundo enganche de esta marca que compró.El primero vino con una protección de plastico que este segundo que acabo de comprar no lo trae.El grillete del primero va libre en su recorrido y este se traba al girarlo....Ojalá me puedan dar alguna solución o enviarme la pieza faltante.Me parece que en el anuncio dice 11 toneladas de arrastre pero lleva grabado en el gancho que solo aguanta 8 toneladas.... No estoy muy seguro de esto ya que no puedo acceder al anuncio.Gracias y espero poder solucionar.
