Transparent Vinyl Tape with Self-Adhesive. (3 inch x 25 ft, Orange)

The clock on the new vent hood I purchased was too bright for me to easily read and it lit up my whole kitchen at night. On my picture- the top is before, the middle is with one layer of tape and the bottom is with two layers of tape. The touch-pad buttons still work to turn on the vent fan and light.

Trying to minimize the sleep-disrupting white, blue, and green lights of appliances and other sources at night, I just bought the 8" by 25 ft. roll of this self-adhesive product and covered every illuminated surface in the house, large and small, that I might encounter at night. Because I sometimes warm a glass of milk or a heating pad at night, I even covered the entire front of the transparent microwave door with the red film and it definitely dims that jarringly bright, white light that used to come out of the microwave in the middle of the night. My water heater had a tiny, but very bright white icon that lit up an entire hallway, and I covered its panel with several layers of the film to dim the light sufficiently and produce the depth of the true red that I wanted. Some reviewers complained that some products only produced a pink or other off-shade; this product layers over itself very well to achieve whatever shade of true red and dimness desired.

We bought two $300 LED light fixtures for our living room which turned out to have a harsh white color temperature. We used the Gold transparent tape to warm up the light output. It worked excellent. It applied seamlessly, and you cannot even tell that it is not an original part of the fixtures. The room is so much more inviting and relaxing. The tape has great adhesion. I would definitely buy it again if needed.

I used it to cover extremely bright white LEDs on my RV. These gave the strip a nice warm amber glow. My last camping trip was much more enjoyable. Great product, great shipping speed, gonna order another roll in a different color!

The tape works well for covering non-red lights to help maintain natural night vision. Used to cover led desk lamps in the observatory, cover outdoor solar led yard lights to improve safety in the observing field for public events, cover the lighted buttons on mobile devices. This tape is not as sticky as the product I have previously used and I have noticed it needs to be replaced a little more often on handheld devices.

This tape is excellent and exactly what I was looking for. My kid’s CD player has an offensive, blaring blue display which is exactly what you do NOT want for your kid to sleep at night. A few layers of this tape and it’s a perfect red. The picture speaks for itself!

While worth the money and the wait. If you stand 5' away you can't even see the tape. A replacement lans on my truck is $700 so this looks great until I can find a used one... You get plenty of tape where you will have it but far into the future.
