This stuff is incredible! For years I dealt with what I thought were ugly black, clogged pores on my nose. No matter how many pore minimizing cosmetics I bought, pore strips that were both gross (I did love seeing the nasty gunk that came out of my "clogged pores"), and other facial products that promised to eliminate them, I came across this in a buzzfeed review of products with thousands of five star ratings. I read the reviews, and that's where I first learned what I thought were clogged pores on my nose are not actually pores at all, but something called sebaceous filaments. Using things like pore strips and squeezing them out makes them worse. I've seen reviews that say this product and others like it are BS & that it's just the product balling up, and not your dead skin. From what I've read on sites that feature dermatologists and skin care experts, that's mostly true, except that dead skin is sloughed off and gets mixed into the little balls that form. I think that must be true, because I can not only feel the difference, I can see it. The filaments on my nose appear much smaller, and don't look like black dots anymore! Dry spots and even some minor discoloration seem to disappear as well. I've tried SO many products before this and none have given me results anything close to this. Most haven't given me any results at all, truth be told.I do have some suggestions people might find helpful with this product. First off, many people recommend following this with Paula's Choice 2% DHA after using this. I didn't care for it personally, as it made my face feel almost a little sticky. I do know other people swear by it, so it's probably worth a try. I've found that toner from DHC is better for my skin. I follow it with Tru Skin Vitamin C Serum, and then moisturizer.If you have any "peach fuzz" on your face, I would highly recommend using a dermablade tool, which shaves it off, as well as some dry skin. I usually do that a day or so beforehand, just to avoid any possible skin irritation. I wish someone had suggested this before I used it. I had very pale, short soft hairs on my face (I get why it's called peach fuzz) that made the product harder to get off. I noticed that several people who gave negative reviews had issues related to that.Finally, I end with moisturizer. I use Olay Regenrist, but I'm in my late 40's, so it obviously isn't for everyone.I hardly ever write reviews, and never write lengthy ones, but this is the one skin care product I I feel strongly about. If you're on the fence, try it. I think you'll be very happy you didn't.

Used this the day I got it and again today. I'll come back and update this later, but for now I wanted to leave some comments:1.) The consistency is a watery gel and it has no smell - I like that.2.) You only need a little bit - I bought the two container package deal so this should last me a while3.) Gently rub it on your skin with your fingers - Don't scrub it in, as it's not necessary!4.) Those clumps you'll see? It's actually dead skin! At first I thought it was how the product congealed once applied, but those clumps are really dead skin (I'm a skeptic, so tried it on my hand and even on the counter top like another commenter mentioned.)5.) Don't let it dry on your skin.. it only takes 30 seconds for it to work. This is not a peel off mask.. it melts off your dead skin, but the mask itself does not peel. It's not meant to be left sitting on your face until it dries. Like I said, 30 seconds and you're done!6.) I rinsed off with a warm, wet washcloth, taking care to remove all of the product from the corners of my nose, etc.7.) Because I have some dark age spots I'm trying to fight, I figured it wouldn't hurt to apply Nadinola to those areas after using this product. Maybe it will help the Nadinola work better since it won't have to go through dead skin to get to the dark spots.8.) This product literally melts off a layer of dead skin so you don't want to accidentally get in in your eyes! Wash your hands with soap (I recommend Puracy lavender & vanilla!), taking care to remove any remaining product from under your nails, etc. That way if you rub your eyes later, you are not introducing product to your eyes (like I saw another commenter did.)Already, I'm seeing an improvement! I have combination skin that is also sensitive. My face hasn't broken out and this stuff seems to extract the nasty blackheads I have never been able to fully get rid of from my nose! My face has a "glow" to it after using this gel. Haven't seen that in a while.. woot! Where has this product been all of my life?!UPDATE: Oh my gosh, I'm in love with this stuff! I've stopped wearing foundation for the first time in years! It's really helping my skin look bright & clear. On a whim, I tried it on the bottoms of my feet & it works great there, too!UPDATE II: I’ve just about used up the second container. Ready to buy more. Use it 3Xs weekly now. Immediately after rinsing off, I apply TruSkin’s vitamin C 20% and have noticed even a bigger improvement!! (Note: I do use the C before bed and prior to putting makeup on in the morning.) This combo has greatly reduced age spots, scars, zits, blackheads and it seems to be working on the Melanesia. Wish I would have found this product (and the C) years ago!UPDATE 3: Been using this stuff since January & it’s now the end of August. Still happy!
