Not working on 1080p, Only working on 1280 x 768. Pretty disappointed by this. Instead of going for a cheaper one, I bought this because it said it would scale to 1080 but pretty disappointed now. And when you use a another converter on the other end of the VGA cable, it only connects to 1024*768 (not even 720p) and sometimes, it doesnt even working shows bluescreen when you use another kind of adapter on other end. I thought this was about my cable but not. Took almost 3 hours to analyse and find the problem. I hate when people sell me a cheaper product when im in need of a good one. And i cant do a return as i need to use this someway for the program (function) which is the reason i bought this. Not happy at all.

I am writing this review after one month of usage. This product is perfect for converting VGA signals to HDMI compatible feeds into Projector. My projector is XElectron S2 (without Miracast). This product worked very well with the stated model of my projector. The native resolution of the projector feed is 800 X 600 (4:3). However, my projector makes it 16:9 by stretching it. All videos run at 1280 X 720 are displayed making it almost native (I compared it with the same resolution fed through a direct HDMI feed from a modern laptop). When running 2048 X 1080 videos, the scale up of resolution beyond 1280 X 720 is clearly visible. But the scale up is not as prominent as a native resolution of 2048 X 1080 (when compared with the same resolution of direct HDMI feed from a modern laptop). Overall, I have enjoyed good experience on YouTube videos on my projector. It is very easy to install. I just needed to wire it correctly. I have run this device continuously for even five hours taking the 5V USB power from the projector itself. It is a highly efficient device. No heating issues; no jitters; no audio - video sync issues, etc. On audio - video sync, I want to state that the sync is perfect whether you feed audio into this device or take out audio from laptop directly into an external speaker. I have tested both extensively. I have an old Sony LCD TV. It provides a 4:3 display in native mode from this device. My old Sony TV does not have the feature to stretch the screen to 16:9. But my new TV (Kodak) has it. The key learning is that the display device (projector, TV) should have its own feature to stretch the screen to 16:9. Overall, I have rated this device with five stars. It is reliable and durable, and delivers its functions perfectly. The packaging looked quite professional. The power chord is similar to the ones used in older mobile phones and handicams. It does not have the modern micro USB connector.

Excellent Seller : Return and Replacement of the Defective Product is Excellent ! . Product is Working ! But it is not Suitabe for "Continious" use ! It's Overheating , Permenant blue lines Shown in the Computer Screen after Continious use ! Totally useless Product !

I used this for a year it's good . Quality is good . But the power adaptor Quality is not that good but is manageable. Value for money.
