this wax actually blew me away, it's so amazing i couldn't believe it. before trying this one, i was using their russian pearl like years—basically ever since i had first started waxing (always at home). i honestly just accepted that brazilian waxes are always going to hurt like crazy if i'm not consistently waxing (although it would still hurt) because waxing thins the hair over time. dude... first thing i noticed was the more gel like consistently and how quickly it dries. i had seen the whole thermochromic aspect in the description and honestly didn't think much of it because i was like "okay, the color changes when it heats up, so?" BUT OMGGG that also means that the colors changes when it cools down so that helps immensely in knowing when my wax is dry and i can go ahead and pull the strip so i'm not accidentally pulling to early or too late and risking stuck hair. another thing that absolutely shocked me: this wax is ridiculously gentle. i seriously don't understand how they formulated this, but my brazilian wax after not waxing for a good minute was virtually painless, i kept asking myself how it was possible the whole time because it didn't really feel like much of anything. because of the fast dry time and just everything that makes this wax what it is, for the first time in forever it didn't take me hours to wax. it also gets every single hair!!! even the finest of hairs, it WILL pick it up. i literally waxed peach fuzz just to test and omg it grabbed everything. doesn't even matter if the hair is super short and coarse, it'll grab it for sure. super versatile too so it's easy to pick if i want a thinner or thicker strip and it won't crumble no matter how thin. i had to conduct the ultimate test though to see if this wax was really going to be my new go to or not... AND IT PASSED! I WAS SO HAPPY. usually when using russian pearl or any other wax for brazilians, when it comes to that labia strip, i'm not able to apply across the whole thing. i have to slowly work my way in by applying the thinnest (as in diameter) strips and hope that the wax will actually pick up the hair. usually the hair would end up somehow getting stuck in the wax and it would just be so painful to remove. there were times where the strip would literally just refuse to come off no matter how i hard i pulled and omg the pain was the worst. i would end up having to try and cut the strip off. WELLLLL NOT WITH THIS ONE 😝😝 it didn't get stuck a single time and i tested it by applying the wax across the whole thing, and although it hurt, IT ACTUALLY CAME OFF. after that, i immediately fell in love. the wax is very pretty and there isn't much sting after removing the strip either. it smells like very plasticy strawberries (?) though and the scent can be a little weird lol not the biggest fan of it when it's melting but nothing too crazy. my bathroom kinda smelled like strawberries while i was waxing lol. to really drive the point home, i had also bought italian velvet (which i had my eye on for a minute), but i think i was spoiled by testing this wax first that i tried the italian velvet and was instantly brought back to the painful aspect of waxing and was like "hm yeah no you're getting returned" 😆 anyway, i feel very lucky considering i decided to try this last minute. thank god for the presentation of this wax cause the packaging had me intrigued and im so glad 😭

I’ve been waxing at home for a couple months now. The search has been long to find the perfect that works for my skin and warmer. I typically do my arms, underarms and all over face waxing. This has been so far (I’ve tried MANY) the only wax that has picked up the tiniest of hairs, peach fuzz, and stubborn hairs, even hair that technically isn’t long enough to be picked up by wax, this wax will adhere to anything! To my surprise it has shortened my waxing time in half because of how efficient and effective the wax is at picking up my hairs in one go. I will occasionally go over a spot a second time for the clean up, and that’ll REALLY do it. As far as smell, its definitely soft and not overwhelming at all like others I’ve used, very pleasant soft strawberry smell if you really out it to your nose. Color is gorgeous!! I think I found my forever wax!

I have to start with the smell. It smells amazing and makes waxing feel a little less like a chore and a little more like self-care. Apparently, it's also low temperature wax. I didn't realize that until I sat down to write this review. That information would have been useful a few days ago when I managed to give myself a burn on my neck . Lesson learned. What really impressed me was how well this wax works. It grabbed every little hair and left my skin smooth with very little effort. I had switched back to shaving over the last few years because waxing felt like such a hassle. This wax changed my mind completely. The beads melt quickly, apply easily, and remove cleanly. Even though I'm still getting back into the rhythm of waxing, this made the process fast and surprisingly easy. If you've been putting off waxing because it's time-consuming or frustrating, give this one a try. Between the scent, the low-temperature formula, and how effectively it removes hair, I'm officially back on Team Waxing.
