Fantastic 16:10 monitor which is a rarity these days

Nice screen, colours are great and the resolution is really crisp - i will be returning though as the description in the title says it's 2560x1440px or UHD resolution but it is actually 1920x1200 - it does say in the drop down but the title is misleading and should really be changed.

This is my work-from-home main screen, and a very welcome change from the old one. But because i use it all the time, I wasn't willing to send it back for the fault to be fixed. Somewhere in the power-in connector - in the cable or the screen - there is a bad connection and if I touch the cable the 'wrong' way, the screen goes off. Very irritating. My other grumble is the stand, which is too short. It's adjustable from impossibly low to just uncomfortably low, so I have to have it raised on an extra platform. Would another 10cm really be that hard to provide?! When it's on and properly placed, it's a great screen: good resolution, so I can have two windows open side by side while I work, and both are legible. Bright enough, clear enough, all the things a screen should be. If you get one without the connection fault, and your working position means that 50cm is high enough for your screen-top, then I think you'll be happy with this.

I'm a graphic designer. I value colour accuracy and screen real estate. This gives me both of those things. I love the fact that this is slightly taller than most monitors. It might not seen like much, but that extra inch of height just helps things feel so much bigger. The monitor is height adjustable too, which is better for my eyeline. The only small downside to this monitor is that there's a noticable backlight in the four corners. Even on solid black screens. This makes looking at anything with a dark background a little annoying because it'll always be shown with a subtle white glow. It's not ideal for things like watching things full screen, but it's super bright in other situations where you need brightness. Well worth buying one overall.

I should have smelt a rat when I opened the box. The ASUS tape across the top said 'Check Contents If Seal Is Broken' and sure enough the seal was broken and given that everything was there, I suspect the reason for the probable return was as follows. This monitor is quite clearly described as 2560x1440 but that is wrong! It is actually a normal 1080p monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution! If that is all you require then it seems to be pretty good. The build quality is excellent and setup is easy-peasy but that is all I can say. I only had the thing switched on for a couple of minutes and wondered why everything looked very soft when comapared with the 2560x1600 (16:10) resolution on my laptop. So I checked the monitor native resolution and it was a clear as day - 1920x1080! So within 10 minutes of me unpacking it, I'd set up a return and put it back in the unsealed box. The very next day at 09:00 the UPS van arrived to collect it and despite Amazon saying it would be at least 14 business days before credit could be given, I received an email just 6 days later, telling me the credit was made, so I'm just waiting for Lloyds to do their thing. Then I'll go for another ASUS model which, according to the ASUS website is correctly described as 2560x1440 although it is £260 more but from a photographer's POV the extra is worth it because of the colour accuracy with 95% DCI-P3.

Je m'en sert pr du rendu 3d. Je suis choquée par la qualité de l'image! Je ne suis pas habituée à de tel moniteurs! Je l adore !

Kleuren zijn verbluffend. 4x poorts USB HUB zeer handig. Wel trage opstart, de PC is allang opgestart de monitor gaat daarna pas aan. De 2 speakers zijn van matige kwaliteit, maar deze monitor koop je niet voor het geluid.

Es de buena calidad, me gusta, a ver lo que dura en tiempo. Me gustaría si por culpa del soporte no se apartaría tanto de la pared😉

Certamente un monitor di alte prestazioni: immagine stabile e nitida; risoluzione massima anche su schede video modeste; colori fedeli da tutte le angolazioni. E' presente la funzione "Uniformity Compensation" che riadatta la luminosità in base a ciò che viene visualizzato (se si lavora in ambienti al riparo dalla luce, è preferibile disabilitarla). E' inoltre presente il filtro luce blu, che, ovviamente, altera la fedeltà cromatica che però è configurabile e può essere disabilitato facilmente. Il monitor è molto curato nei dettagli, nelle finiture e nei materiali; bordo ultra sottile, base solida e pesante, oltre che esteticamente molto gradevole. L'accesso al menu è agevolato da un comodo joystick posto nella scocca posteriore del monitor. Infine è dotato di un coperchio che consente di chiudere il vano di connessione, nascondendo porte e cavi, conferendo eleganza all'oggetto.

Bin sehr zufrieden.
