This hair mask really does smell just like birthday cake! The jar is big, so it should last for awhile. It is a creamy mask and it will leave your hair feeling soft, manageable, and healthy. (and frizz-free, too!) It is on the pricey side, but every once in awhile, it's okay to splurge and do something nice for yourself. You won't regret it!

I have been using this conditioning mask for about a month now, and I’m really impressed with the results. After just a few uses, I started noticing my hair felt softer and looked healthier. Now that I’ve been using it consistently for a couple months, my hair has a natural shine (less greasy), feels much smoother, and I’ve actually noticed less oily buildup between washes! The consistency is rich and creamy without feeling heavy, and it rinses out easily without leaving residues. My hair feels hydrated, tangle free without being weighed down. The scent threw me off a little. It’s not bad, just a little different than what I expected (more botanical than sweet/fresh) Thankfully, the smell doesn’t linger once my hair is dry.

I always stock up on Briogeo's Vanilla Birthday Cake hair mask whenever it comes back in stock or goes on sale. I prefer this scent over the original. It reminds me a lot of Sol de Janeiro's Bum Bum Cream (that warm salted caramel and golden pistachio vibe), but wrapped in layers of vanilla cake and topped with a rich, homemade buttercream. As a gourmand girlie, it smells incredible to me. The mask itself is very rich and nourishing, so I avoid my oily-prone roots and keep it focused on my lengths and ends. It does an amazing job of smoothing and softening my dry, color-treated lengths of hair. My hair is fine, but this doesn't weigh it down at all when I keep it off the scalp. It leaves my hair feeling noticeably stronger, silkier, and more hydrated, with my split ends looking sealed and less frizzy. The vanilla scent lingers lightly in my hair after rinsing and drying, and it's creamy and comforting vanilla, but not overpowering. Overall, this is one of my favorite deep conditioning masks, and the birthday cake scent just makes me happy, along with the cute, limited edition packaging. I pray that they eventually make a chocolate cake scented mask as well.

My hair has thee biggest attitude right now and this stuff is helping to tame it into submission until I figure out the root problem. Even my hairdresser thought it might be helping my dry split hair. A little about my hair, I am 50, my hair is natural and is 75/80% gray and 20/25% gray. I have sparce hair but it has a lot of body and looks like I have more than I do. My individual hair strands are not thick, and are relatively thin. I am unable to use any oil products in my hair because they don't penetrate the hair shaft they just sit on top. As of late my hair has been falling out at alarming rates due to I believe sciatica issues and high intake of motrin. I will tell you I did not like it at first and did not see anything until 4th week, I used it once a week and I had to use in shower not bath. I don't know why, maybe I wasn't rinsing completely in bath but it works better in shower. Side note, I also switched to bar soap and conditioner so I would use this in place of conditioner, I tried doing both once and my hair was greasy.

I bought this on the advice of ChatGPT while trying to revamp my haircare routine, because I honestly have not been taking care of my hair properly for a number of years. I had never heard of this brand before, but I bought it to use as a deep conditioner with my heat cap. Let me tell you, this thing has my hair feeling so soft after I condition. I use one of the PURA D’OR shampoos before conditioning, and I find the shampoo can leave my hair feeling a little dry. But after using this for about 20 minutes with my heat cap, I am amazed at how much moisture and softness it puts back into my hair. This really does what I needed it to do. I will definitely buy it again.

This hair mask makes my hair silky, shiny and smells like a Coppertone infused beach on a sunny day. There is nothing to dislike.

I have 3c/4a the curls. I bought this product a few months ago and was looking for something to repair some damage. I saw a little of a difference but to be honest, you can get way better products for cheaper prices. Even my at home oil treatments I make myself work better. I will say, it leaves my hair veryyyy soft and smooth and hydrated to the point where I could just rinse it out after shampoo and wear no other products all day. I’m not necessarily saying it doesn’t repair damage, just that it’s super overpriced for how little of a difference is there. For quality, not liquidity or thick, kinda in between. Me and my sister shared this bottle and got a good 10 uses (5 each) in total. Although our hair is medium length, we have thicker hair so it ran kinda quickly. Product was okay not bad. Recommendations: I’ve been just buying jojoba oil (or you can buy any organic carrier oils such as coconut oil, rosehip oil, grapeseed oil) and you can choose to heat it up for a few seconds or leave it alone up to you. Let it sit in your hair for an hour to two hours and then wash hair. This is so super yet so effective so try this for a start.

My hair has responded really well to this deep conditioning treatment. After using it, my hair feels softer, more manageable, and noticeably more conditioned. I also love how nourished and stronger my hair feels, especially when it needs a little extra care. It’s one of those treatments that makes a noticeable difference in how my hair feels and how easy it is to manage afterward. My only real complaint is the price. It’s quite expensive for the amount of product you get, especially if you have long or thick hair and need to use a generous amount. I really wish the container were larger for the price, or that the product itself were a little more affordable. Performance-wise, though, I really enjoy it. My hair loves it, and that’s the main reason I continue reaching for it despite the price.
