My cat has been chewing & scratching chunks out of himself for over 18months. He's made himself a real mess. Vets have given steroids repeatedly & it worked for a while. Eventually it stopped workig altogether & he started yowling all night on the stairs. Vet told me to try Feliway. I did but it had only a little effect & the 28day difuser was empty in 2weeks-not great at 30quid a pop. By accident, while buying my regular supply of Beaphar flea foggers (also excellent btw) I found these. As it's a brand I know & trust for the foggers I had to try them. Best find ever! One lasted 23days & the other lasted 25. Not quite 28 but a lot closer than Feliway's & 100% more effective. My cat is smooth & scabless, content & silent at night. He's distinctly less grouchy & antisocial too. Effects were virtually instant. His skin was clear on a week. Even the other cat has stopped being a huge clingy pain in the arse! I was a little worried by some reviews mentioning overheating & a smoking smell so I monitored closely. Fortunately I've seen nothing of the kind, just slight warmth like you get with all plug-ins. In short, buy these, they're ⅓ of the price of the opposition & so much more effective it blew me away. For an added bonus, grouchy cat even stopped strolling past the litter tray & leaving foul smelling 'gifts' under the dining table & behind the tv unit. Wasn't expecting that but for a free added bonus I'll happily take it. On the downside I'm getting through more kitty litter but I think I can handle that! This is the good stuff as Big-Balls & Fat Arse will attest. (Yes, that's really their highly accurate names!)

I've tried similar plug ins before and had success so I tried one this time for our ginger boy who for the past few months just looks constantly on edge, very touchy and peeing everywhere around the house. The slightest sound and he'd get jumpy, I have no idea what happened to make him like this but he was constantly peeing on kids beds, all our shoes, everywhere! A week into having this plug in and we have a calm peaceful cat that seems so much happier and rested. We only have one upstairs where he spends most his day but I'm honestly shocked at how much of a change this has made! We'll be getting another next week for the front room when we put the Christmas tree up, in the hope he won't freak out and pee on it! I can honestly recommend this product if you have a cat that needs to chill out or stop peeing around the house. He even lets us pick him up now :) last time we tried one he was aged one and we got him home from rescue, he hid behind a box until we got a plug in and suddenly came out, had a fuss etc, magical stuff!! Wish I'd tried one again sooner.

Very happy with this product. It seems to work a little for my 2 house cats but for this price it's worth trying for your cat. This is a pack of 3 which I didn't realise so really good value for money. I thought it was only one so was extremely happy when I opened the box to see 3 boxes inside! **UPDATE FOR 2ND ORDER** Ordered my 2nd lot of this product seeing as it worked well for my cats. Delivery arrived yesterday and opened the box to only receive one plug in. I was hugely disappointed seeing as my first delivery I received 3. I wouldn't have paid the same price for one. Cannot contact seller easily either.

In all honesty, when we first used it, it did seem to have a calming affect on the cat, but after a couple of weeks all we could smell was melting plastic. The top of the unit was becoming very hot, even though the container was half full. I would say it was good short term, but it won’t last the 30 days advertised.

Talia my 8 year old Bengal cat has always been skittish, and pee's in the worst places possible, she started pee'ing up my wardrobe doors, totally out of the blue, I've tried Feliway which did nothing, so a vet nurse friend told me of this product she uses. Thought for £15 worth a try. Within 2 days Talia the Bengal wanted cuddles, she was grooming the dachshund Penny, and no wee....... even left her in my bedroom during the day, which normally guarantees wee, but amazingly nothing. I'm in shock. Whatever is in this product works on the hardest to Tame & train cats.... My advice, buy, buy, buy......

I had high high hopes for this product after being recommended a pheromone diffuser for my boy. I have an anxious and stressed 3 month old kitten who wasn’t socialised before coming to me. It was an unwanted, unexpected litter. Anyway, he hasn’t settled with me at all, I move and he would run, I got scratched and clawed. The furniture, doors, walls and floors all getting scratched. Any noise even having the radio on and he would run and hide, he didn’t seem happy, he wouldn’t hardly ever come up to me at all and I never forced it on him unless he was sleepy with a full belly and then sleep but even if I breathed just a tiny bit too loud he would run and hide. He’s an indoor cat and I couldn’t have the front door even the smallest bit open without him wanting to scratch me until I could’ve bled out and then it would be meowing and scratching until I came back. I had high high hopes for this product, I plugged it in this morning and there was a noticeable difference with my little guy for the hour it has been plugged in. I was getting ready to go out and I thought brilliant this will help, well I was just about to leave and this HORRID smell of melting plastic and an electric fire smell entered my nostrils and I panicked seeing as I live in a block of flats with 5 other family’s and 3 have children. I went to the plug in and I turned the plug off, smell was so bad at this point. I didn’t want to leave it inside my flat so I tried to take it out the plug now not even touching the item for anymore than 1-2 seconds I felt like I had just touched the centre of the earth and the plastic was bubbling. I grabbed my oven gloves and took it straight out to the communal bin. If I had not noticed this before I went out I don’t think I’d have a cat that would be alive or a home to come back too, just like the families in my flat block wouldn’t have either. How this is supposed to last 30 days and be left switched on the whole time is beyond me seeing as mine hadn’t been on longer than an hour and 10 minutes. I have now ordered from the other REPUTABLE brand of a similar product which I hope will be affective for my little guy but most importantly SAFE! Please keep your household and neighbours safe and NOT use this product!

I bought this after it was recommended by my vet. My cat seems to like it and is less stressed. Its very easy to assemble, just push the little refill bottle into the plug and then straight to the wall socket. It's that simple. As it works on cat feromones that are not recognised by humans it's difficult for me to say much. All I can say is my cat seems to be better than before I had it so it's fine and I will be buying it regularly. Thank you

Our cat Bella (pictured) got very stressed when we brought home our son, she’s normally very social and doesn’t mind visitors but she suffered with utis and just wasn’t herself at all..I seen this online and said I’d give it a go she’s fully back to herself and better!! So affectionate and crazy playful at night can’t recommend enough defo get if u are bringing home a new baby just wish we bought it sooner

I only received the refill and not the electric diffuser, the images shows both, the description talks about the power connection of the electric diffuser, but the package only comes with the refill

Bought this because cat would overgroom and meow constantly despite having no underlying health issues. It's been 2 weeks since I bought this and the overgrooming has reduced a bit but the meowing is still going strong in spite of keeping the diffuser on throughout day and night. I guess the effect depends on the cat. Note: I'm allergic to cats and this diffuser has the same pheromones as cats, so be prepared to get a stuffy/runny nose, sneezing etc if you're allergic.

No idea if it works but it doesn't last for 30 days. Maybe 2 to 3 weeks max.
