The vanilla is exceptionally mild in flavor -- perhaps too mild.
I've been drinking Saturo for a few days now, as replacements for breakfast and lunch. The vanilla is the more recent purchase, and I think that what hint of vanilla is present is so mild as to be nearly undetectable. It's not a bad taste, but compared to the chocolate Saturo, the vanilla flavor doesn't stand enough on its own to break up what I found is the base taste of most meal replacements - a kind of coarse oat-soy drink that has some weight to it. I can still finish one, but I'm biased more toward the flavor of the chocolate. As for holding power, the bottle proclaims, "No Hunger for 2-3 Hours". This is largely accurate. I'm a fairly large person going through some weight loss attempt, and I struggle with hunger pangs throughout the day. I find that I can make it through my typical work day (from 07:30 to about 17:30) on two Saturo and a snack (usually sea salt popcorn), including my typical cycling routine. The reminder that is not on the label that I share with folks new to the new generation of meal replacements is important: Have some water with that meal! Saturo, per serving, provides 11% of the US Recommended Daily Allowance of dietary fiber. Fiber loves fluids, and the liquid in one Saturo isn't enough. Go ahead, finish that 240ml water. I'll wait. :) The water helps with the satiety that Saturo claims, and also mitigates a negative effect that comes with the introduction of additional fiber in one's diet without enough hydration. You'll thank me later. There is a minor amount of borborygmi that happens when you first introduce your body to a diet that's considerably lower in solids than you're use to, and there is also a bit of flatulence that accompanies the change for a day or two, but it adjusts fairly quickly. All in all, it's been well worth the cost, and I plan on restocking soon.

Update: Pretty good, worth a try
Update: I think the first one I drank was spoiled Okay, so originally I gave the Vanilla Saturo 1/5 because it tasted horrid, I could barely drink it. However since i bought it in a 8-pack a week later I decided I should try to drink another one and it actually tasted pretty decent, good by meal replacement drink standards I would say. I like the ingredients that Saturo uses and if you're trying out meal replacement drinks, I definitely think you should try out this product. My only reservation though is that Saturo only offers 330 calories per drink, making Saturn not very cost efficient. In addition, while the vanilla taste (when not spoiled) is pretty good/decent, it's not the best I've tried. ---Original Review-- I tried the chocolate a few months back and it was okay. Not particularly good, not particularly filling, but okay. Also, not as many calories as other meal replacements, so there money to calorie ratio isn't very good. Still, when I saw that vanilla was in stock I was excited to try it because I thought "how could one mess up vanilla flavor" -- I now know how one can I don't know how to describe the flavor except through the emotion of disgust as I tried to drink it. It was bad, really bad. Not in a "too sweet" or "not sweet enough" way, but in like how the flavor actually tasted. You take a sip and it's unpleasant, then the after taste is worse. There was no vanilla flavor to it and no sweetness. I've been trying a lot of meal replacement drinks lately and the vanilla definitely goes on the bottom of my list. Such a shame, I wanted to like Saturn because they seem to have somewhat higher quality ingredients than some other competition. Please update your formula!

They really do keep you full!
This my first time trying a vegan shake. I only got them because a streamer (MDZ_Jimmy) drinks and advertised them and had a sweet code that allowed me to get them for a good price which stacked ontop of a sale they already were having. Onward to the review. These are surprisingly good I'm not a vegan and it broke my stereotype thinking of everything vegan is bland. However, I didn't buy these because I'm trying a vegan diet I just wanted to try something that would be healthy and fast for me to eat/drink and keep me full and from having to cook or eat out. In addition, also something I could quickly consume at work on a break that didn't require preparation. These really do the trick and fulfill all the conditions I listed above and I'm a big guy at 300lbs. They are not too sweet and loaded with sugars as you might see in other brand "shakes" which leaves you more refreshed than thirsty which typically happens with shakes. So if you expect and want your sugar these may not be for you. I've tried both the chocolate and the vanilla with my preference being the chocolate, it just tastes better with the minimal sugar as opposed to the vanilla. Unfortunately these are the only two flavors on the U.S. market with Saturo with it being an EU company they have the wide variety of flavors that are currently unavailable and I hope soon come to the U.S. If you're Vegan, or pursuing a type of diet, want to lose weight, or just want to be plain lazy, you can't go wrong with these drinks. As my headline states they really do keep you full as advertised with the 2-3 hours for me personally 3 hours.
