No doubt-Just go for it
I am a die hard G-Shock fan,have been using this watch for the last 8 Years.This has been my weekend or after office hours companian. Have changed the battery, strap once and the top bazel @ 4 years back but that's because of rough use ( cost me about 200/- and 1500/- respectively at the service centre) .I would highly recommend this watch but if you can stretch you're budget by 2k , I suggest you also look at model no GD 350

Too good as they say if it's not a G-Shock it's not a G-Shock, classic product got it as a gift. Go ahead and buy it.
