It felt fuzzy(short cloth fibers) in the center area instead of smooth like the outer two inch edges
Background: We had our treadmill for two years and then we started smelling a burnt smell a few months back. Walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes is when you would start to smell a hot plastic smell, after taking the cover off I felt the motor and it was hot(should only be warm) to the touch(could not hold hand on it very long) and the RED motor wire connector on the board was discolored. Well we tried lubricating the belt, but the belt was past that. It felt fuzzy(short cloth fibers) in the center area instead of smooth like the outer two inch edges. After the the replacement belt was installed I no longer have a hot motor after 30 minutes.
