Alikay Naturals | Moisturizing Black Soap Shampoo (8oz)

Bought after seeing raving reviews on youtube. It is indeed an unlikely experience as a shampoo because of its liquid form. It does smell really like and left my hair feeling soft on the surface but extremely tangled underneath. I heard that you can detangle with that shampoo. Maybe if I had done a prepoo.... but I had not, and it definitely did not melt away the tangles.

I will use this shampoo for the rest of my life as long as it’s available. I love the smell and my scalp feels clean without feeling dry. It also doesn’t strip all the natural oils out of my hair. If you have any kind of buildup in your hair, this shampoo will not take it out but this isn’t a negative aspect of the shampoo. This shampoo was made to be gentle and natural and not strip everything out. If you use a lot of product in your hair, I recommend using a clarifying shampoo from time to time to get out any residual product.So happy I found this shampoo!

Great shampoo, a gentle cleanser that doesn't strip your oils. I have sisterlocks and very dry scalp in the winter so this is my winter shampoo but in the summer when my skin is less dry, I need a stronger cleanser, I felt like it left too much oil behind and didn't feel clean.
