I went riding for 20 mins on my MTB and I started to feel something weird on this new seat post. I checked it out and it started to bend. I decided to turn back and the bend only got worst.I had the post on position 8, far from the minimum insertion point. I'm 225 lbs but I was only doing fire roads, no single trails. Terrible product, returning

I'm giving a positive review of this company and this product. Even though there was an issue with my seat post, it was because I'm 6'4" and fully dressed, I'm pushing 300 lbs. But I can't knock this product. It's well made and even little things like the insert markings are quality. The adjustment range is great, and there is some meat to the teeth where the seat level adjusts. Not just slight bumps like others I have seen that can jump under pressure. Once you cinch this one down, your seat stays put. Also, even though it was outside the 30 warranty before I had issues, they responded immediately and issued a refund so I could order a more robust model. So if you're looking for a great pillar for a good price, and you're not over 290 lbs, I say this is a great choice !!!

My existing Specialized seatpost had a two screw system. The screws were too thin and eventually would break. So even though the two screw system is better for adjustments, I can’t trust them anymore. This seat post is longer, lighter, and looks better than the more expensive one it replaces. I like the single chunky strong looking screw that holds the seat on. It’s not as adjustable, but it does the job better than I expected.

I was a little skeptical about how long it would be . I had one for 2 years that was only 13-14 inches and it wasn’t long enough. This one is definitely more length than I need but that’s what I wanted . Got it today and installed it with pliers and Allen key in 10 minutes. Took it for a ride ....awesome. It deserves 6 stars . It won’t go all the way down into the bike because it’s so long , so if you are not the only rider of the bike it might pose a problem for the shorter rider who wants to adjust it to their height

I extensively looked for a Replacement Extra Long Seatpost Seat Post. And deceided on the UPANBIKE Bike Bicycle MTB Replacement Extra Long Seatpost Seat Post 17.7inch The 25.4 I ordered was an absolutely perfect fit and at 17.7 inches long, it gave an inch or two more than any others I reviewed. I didn't go wrong.Actually, the UPANBIKE is a much better post than than the one my bike's manufacturer was selling on Amazon. In addition, you can adjust the seat sitting position a few angle.The photos on Amazon show how easy it is to install. No issues whatsoever. Very satisfied with this purchase and a black post goes with any color bike.I am very satisfied for the quality, length, and price value.

Loved it till it started to get squeaky at the seat clamp. still works fine with no actual wiggle etc, but feels like it'll eventually fail or is the result of bad design. The seat is not the culprit since it used to be on a better post and never squeaked. The post is holding up fine so far, but its on a bike that is not my daily driver. Update, still hasn't worsened nor improved, still works fine several months later and I'm riding on it more often as well.

Ok, this is a quality, solid product. It is not fair to the product that I am 6’2” 230 pounds. It did fit perfectly in the post. Unfortunately I adjusted (micro adjustable as it is advertised) the seat so that the front is not sticking up but each time I rode, it clicked back - and I tightened those screws to the point that an impact wrench couldn’t budge it. Bottom line, great product if you’re normal sized, but it really is not made to adjust its angle. Had to replace.

This seat post has been on my bike for about three years and has worked fine. Then without a warning the seat mounting bracket snapped. Thankfully I had just slowed down to turn in my driveway and was able to get my feet on the ground and not fall. If it had broke while I was on a fast downhill, I would have had a serious crash. It broke at the bolt hole which is the weakest place.
