Q: What is the depth of the 1u model

Update: From the back of the rack ears to the front of the duct cover, this will stick out 2-1/4” from your rack rails. If you have a rack door that needs to close over these... you will need just a bit over 2-1/4” of clearance from the rack rail to the door/glass.

Q: Is the faceplate blank or does it have a logo on it?

Mine are blank plastic, no logo

Q: How about using this in the front panel in between switches on a 19" rack? This way I can route power/data cables and this is flush to front of rack?

1) Yes, that's what it's designed to do. 2) Yes, it can be mounted so it is flush.

Q: Just to confirm the detachavme cover goes outside and tbe nupont with two holes inside?
