I bought this for my daughter who loves to cook and who loves grits. The recipes are mouth watering. The picture is from a recipe I made. It turned out good considering I can’t realky cook. Good instructions. Good pictures. Good grits.

Lovely book, great recipes. I would recommend this to anyone, had the book not gone out of print... Hope this will go back into print.

This cookbook goes beyond grits to all kinds of cornmeal dishes, including polenta which my Italian husband loves, and covers every meal course. It's beautifully photographed and very easy to follow.

I love grits and I love this book. Having been born in the south and raised on grits, I am a bit fussy about how my grits are prepared (and they have to be real grits, none of that instant stuff). This author knows the subject and writes well about it. Even though I know a lot about grits and have a significant collection of recipes using this product, I learned several important things from reading this book and am impressed by many of the recipes. This is a winner!

Bought this for my daughter after she saw my copy which I bought on a trip to Alabama earlier this year. The recipes are delicious if you have never tried grits you should they are amazing. The recipes in here are wonderful and easy to make. You can substitute Polenta for grits which are hard to obtain in the UK.
