Vandoren SR223 Tenor Sax Traditional Reeds Strength 3; Box of 5

Wonderful reeds I got recommended to try a different style the classical and I'm excited to try all the different styles these are my go to reeds though I always will hate the taste. Sounds great. Last long as long as you don't be too rough with it and clumsy like me. Feels good to play.

Vandoren reeds are a classic. They are typically high quality and produce a good tone. I have found, however, that they are not the most consistent in strength. Some 3.5s play more like 3s, and some play like 4s. There is also some variation in left/right strength. They hold up well to a long period of playing, but have overall found that they are no better than the cheaper reed options. If you want something budget-friendly, I would recommend Rico as a comparable quality. If you want something higher quality, I love the Boston Sax Shop reeds.

Reeds have definitely gotten a lot more expensive over the past 10 years! These reeds by Vandoren have been consistently good out of the box. They play well, and I appreciate their quality.

C'est des Vandoren certes mais j'ai l'impression que c'est une "sous-série" (l'encre n'est pas la même que sur les anches de même type..) En tout ca, elles sont un peu dures au début.

La he usado un par de veces y no consigo esa proyección que tengo con otras marcas, en determinados momentos la presión del aire genera sonidos innecesarios, no se puede matizar y depende mucho del estado del instrumento.

Qualité au rendez-vous. Bien protégées.
