Mezzetta Golden Greek Peperoncini, Whole, 16 Ounce

These are my favorite peperoncini peppers on the market. Most are large, sturdy texture, and crisp, full of juice. The heat level is perfect for me; I find them to be mild but a couple of my family members think they are pretty hot. They are very versatile and great to each straight out of the jar or in your recipes; good for the slow cooker, too. They are well sealed and always taste excellent to me.

I don't know what it is about this product, but I've tried so many brands, and the one I keep coming back to, again and again, is Mezzetta. It has the best flavor, and when they say whole, they mean it. Rarely do I find damaged peppers in their jars. Also, the peppers have a delightful crunch, followed by a burst of delicious flavor as the pickling juice gushes out. The easiest way to eat them is to take firm hold of the stem with your fingers, put your teeth on the rim of the cap, then pull it out, as you bite down firmly and gently, sucking in the juice before chewing up the pepper. Sucking in helps keep the juice from squirting out while pulling out the stem. And, of course, the little sayings on the lids add that nice extra family touch that goes so well with their brand.You can't do betta than Mezzetta!

Best tasting ones I've had so far and I just had four different brands at one time to compare. These were 10 out of 10. Juicy flavor is perfect best ones.

I'm a pepperoncini connoisseur and these past the test

Sometimes these have a metallic bitter taste. I usually end up throwing them out then. I've probably purchased five or six cans and only two maybe have had that metallic bitter taste.

I love these peppers. You can't buy them in a stores.I only found them on Amazon.

We simply love these pepperoncinis. Great with salad, or just by themselves. They're pretty mild, and come in a glass bottle.
